The long-awaited Lord Of The Rings show on Amazon Prime Video has its first full trailer, after the streaming giant released the footage during the Super Bowl.

The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 2 September. "From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the elf capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Numenor, to the farthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone." The film will mark the first theatrical release in the Lord of the Rings franchise since The Hobbit trilogy wrapped up in 2014. The franchise hasn’t been depicted in animated form since the 1978 Ralph Bakshi films hit theaters, so this will be an incredibly interesting, unparalleled experience for this series!
