Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt is looking into improving performance on the Xbox Series S version of the game.
These improvements include new weapons, updated gameplay, and improved crowd reactions — a feature not included in the last-gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The PS5 and Series X versions also have a ray-tracing mode that drops the framerate to 30 FPS while providing 4K resolution. Some Xbox Series S owners are unhappy with how Cyberpunk 2077 runs on the console in the wake of yesterday's 1.5 patch, and CD Projekt Red is taking note.
"With the update, Cyberpunk 2077 takes advantage of the additional power of the newest generation of console hardware, allowing for ray tracing features and 4K ...
The developers also spoke about how Cyberpunk 2077's 1.5 patch includes some new mysteries for players to uncover. Also included with Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 is a guitar in your apartment that you can play '80s-themed songs on. Players can visit the mirror in their apartment to change up their look. There is also a new, five-hour free trial for Cyberpunk 2077 that players can check out to get a taste of the new 1.5 update. In general, CD Projekt says the new perks should help players find new playstyles. Progress from the free trial will carry forward to the full game.

Right now, no Trophy data carries over, so they need to be attained all over again. Cyberpunk 2077 has only just been reborn on PlayStation 5, but developer CD Projekt Red is already looking into some freshly reported issues. Indeed, it's a free upgrade if you already own 2077 on the last-gen console, and the digital upgrade is a relatively simple process, which involves grabbing the PS5 version from the product page (you can find out exactly how to upgrade Cyberpunk 2077 from PS4 to PS5 by clicking the link). But, again, the upgrade isn't working for some people who have a physical PS4 copy.

CD Projekt Red has said it's investigating several Cyberpunk 2077 issues that have come to light since the release of the game's big 1.5 update on Tuesday.
Additionally, CD Projekt has said it’s looking into the possibility of introducing PS4/ PS5 trophies transfer and raising the FPS cap on Xbox Series S, although it can’t yet confirm whether doing either of these things will be possible. It’s also looking into the game crashing on launch on PC and has provided the following potential workaround. CD Projekt Red has said it’s investigating several Cyberpunk 2077 issues that have come to light since the release of the game’s big 1.5 update on Tuesday.
Cyberpunk 2077's newest update, Patch 1.5, includes a bunch of improvements that finally brings the game closer to what audiences expected at launch.
Thanks to this update, the PlayStation 5 is technically the most immersive way to play Cyberpunk 2077. Since Patch 1.5 finally makes Cyberpunk 2077 fully compatible with current-gen hardware, it also takes advantage of all the bells and whistles that were put into controllers. Patch 1.5 also adds a few new “secrets” hidden around Night City for players to seek out and also improves and expands the romance options/interactions with NPCs such as Panam and River. Thanks to Patch 1.5, PS5 owners will experience rumbles of various intensities dependent on “in-game activity,” which probably means they will feel the kick of every Arasaka assault rifle and Militech shotgun. Patch 1.5 adds a new Fixer-centric reputation to the game world. The latest update tries to amend that oversight. Few titles get the feel of vehicular acceleration and turning, including Cyberpunk 2077 at launch. What better way to see if Patch 1.5’s alterations finally make the game worth a purchase? Patch 1.5 adds long-awaited improvements such as ray-traced graphics to current-gen consoles, as well as fan-requested changes such as upgraded NPC crowd AI. The result might not wash away the memory of Cyberpunk 2077’s launch woes, but it makes for a good argument to try out the game, especially since the update coincides with a new five-hour free trial. The additional apartments aren’t huge, but it’s still good to see cut content reintroduced into Cyberpunk 2077. For instance, sleeping also increases the amount of Skill XP acquired and downing a cup of coffee will increase your stamina and stamina regeneration. Fortunately, CD Projekt RED has been busy patching the game (as well as fending off lawsuits), and Cyberpunk 2077‘s latest update might have finally produced the kind of experience gamers wanted.
