On March 3, 2022, it was announced a fire had destroyed the site and burnt Dalton Mills to the ground. Dalton Mills is located in Keighley and was once the largest textile mill in West Yorkshire. Harris bought the mill site in 2013 and restored the Clock Tower and Riverside buildings.

According to Companies House, it has not filed accounts since 2017. The company's website has been taken offline and its Facebook page has not been updated since 2019. They have been converted into offices and workshops.

The mill had been used for a number of film and television productions in recent years. Ben Oakley, from Save Britain's Heritage, said there may still be a chance to preserve the building, and his organisation had been "involved in saving a lot of enormous and fantastic industrial landmark mills across the north and in Yorkshire. No-one was inside the building, in Dalton Lane, at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
KEIGHLEY residents have spoken of their "devastation" after an iconic building in town was consumed by flames yesterday afternoon.
"It will be such a shame not to see it there. A lot of it was for the children. One eyewitness at the scene said: "There's loads of fire engines, loads of smoke. It's spread, they are trying to save one part of the building." "The mill will have been a big part of his life for ten years." My dad used to have a business in the mill 20 years ago," added Mr Stoker. "He was a gardener and landscaper and he used to store all his equipment in the building. It's a fixture of the town and there are quite a lot of businesses there. They added that two parked cars and a van were also on fire. "It's a shame to lose a building like that," added Mr Stoker, "It's an icon in the town". It plays a massive part in the history of Keighley โTheyโve spent a lot of money on it. They've done a lot of work on it in recent years."
