The Supreme collection — which follows a Tiffany x Supreme drop earlier this year and a luxury playbook that started with Louis Vuitton five years ago — landed in store one day ahead of Burberry’s Autumn/Winter 2022 show. Still for all the commotion, the streetwear-dressed crowd continue waiting, keen to buy and flip top items including a funnel-neck unisex jacket in pastel blue with an embroidered logo, on sale for £2,090 (which then sold out online by the end of the day). A Burberry spokesperson said they weren't aware of the queues this morning. Crowds and long queues also formed outside of Supreme stores in New York and Paris on Thursday, with videos popping up online of chaos and altercations.

Supreme collaborated with Burberry on a 12-piece fashion capsule centering on varsity prep and streetwear design elements.

Supreme’s partnership with Burberry follows a slew of collaborations for the streetwear brand, which has recently tapped labels like Junya Watanabe and The North Face for creative collections. A plaid-lined trench coat with a leather color, available in tan, black and bubblegum pink, anchors the collection. Less than a month after appointing Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory to Supreme’s creative director, the VF-owned brand tapped Burberry for an on-trend prep-meets-street mashup.
