There’s no reason for that to change now, with Liverpool in action twice. Saka was in scintillating form with a goal and an assist at Watford last Sunday and can continue to produce in Arsenal’s latest double. Havertz has been given the nod to lead the Chelsea line ahead of Romelu Lukaku and has taken full advantage. Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool

Liverpool have a double gameweek so it'll be difficult for many to look elsewhere. The Saints only have one game in Gameweek 29 but it's Watford at home. Tottenham are a great team to target in the coming weeks. So you're getting three games from the striker over the course of seven days. They have a double gameweek followed by a fixture in Gameweek 30. The Gunners have a double gameweek followed by a fixture in Gameweek 30 - one of only a couple of teams to do so.

Fantasy Premier League: Five transfer tips for Gameweek 29 (SPORF)

With another double Gameweek, tough choices have to be made by Fantasy Premier League managers - here are some tips to help with Gameweek 29.

With a GW29 match against Burnley, followed by Leicester in GW30, Toney has the potential to find the net again. Somehow still a differential pick, Sadio Mane has scored more FPL points than any other player in the last four matches. Aside from that, Saka is one of the most in-form players in the game, scoring 23 points across his last three matches. In particular, some individual performances certainly caught the eye of FPL managers. At £7.7m and just 3.1% ownership, the double opportunity for Calvert-Lewin to return is a tempting prospect. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison back from injury, the Toffees will heavily rely on their attackers to produce the goods.

Who are the best FPL captain options for Gameweek 29? (Fantasy Football Scout)

The Seagulls have declined of late, too, conceding five goals across their last two Amex encounters against Aston Villa and Burnley. At least, in theory, that should keep rotation to a minimum across their next two Premier League matches. Above: Brighton (left) and Arsenal’s (right) chances created conceded heatmaps at home in 2021/22 Above: Liverpool’s Double Gameweek 29 opponents – Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal – rank third and sixth-best respectively for big chances conceded at home in 2021/22 As for their Double Gameweek 29 opponents, Brighton and Arsenal have generally kept things pretty tight on home turf in 2021/22 (see below), but given that Liverpool have scored more goals (34) than any other team on their travels this season, that needn’t be too off-putting. Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) and Harry Kane (£12.3m) have emerged as the two outstanding candidates for the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Double Gameweek 29 captaincy.

Holly Shand looks at Double Gameweek 29 and whether it's the right time to use your Triple Captain, Wildcard, Bench Boost or Free Hit.

For those managers holding a Triple Captain chip, Double Gameweek 29 presents an excellent opportunity to use it, withMohamed Salah(£13.2 million) the obvious option. Salah is obviously the best player to Triple Captain but his fixtures aren’t quite as tantalising as the pair of home games he had in Double Gameweek 26 against Norwich and Leeds. The players I am considering for my FPL Gameweek 29 Wildcard (Fantasy Football Scout)

But, try as I might, I'm finding it hard to build a team that veers away from the “template”. With only two teams (Arsenal and Spurs) that double in Gameweek 29 ...

With Matt Doherty (£4.7m) in my side, I am very much aware that I am being suckered into the hype that surrounds the Irishman. With only a handful of starts all season, and a series of below-par performances for Spurs in unfamiliar positions, it looked like Doherty would be one of the first names on Antonio Conte’s chopping block. However, with two assists against Everton (along with four chances created) to add to the goal and assist versus Leeds the week before, it looks like Doherty is the first choice in the Spurs backline. James Justin (£4.9m) is a threat to Thomas but having just returned from a setback to a long injury, it’s clear that his minutes will be managed, and given his versatility, there is no guarantee he usurps Thomas, who has started the last 13 games. My final spot sits with Luke Thomas (£4.3m) as Leicester have been better defensively of late: their minutes per xG conceded has improved from a season average of 58.2 mins to 80.0 over their last four matches. Robertson is a great pick, with four assists in the last six Gameweeks. He is also the third-highest point scorer during this period, narrowly missing out to teammate Virgil van Dijk (£6.7m) and the in-form Harry Kane (£12.3m). An easy choice for me in goal, as I continue to keep faith with Aaron Ramsdale (£5.1m), who I paid just £4.5m for back at the start of the season. But, try as I might, I’m finding it hard to build a team that veers away from the “template”. With only two teams (Arsenal and Spurs) that double in Gameweek 29 and then have a match in Blank Gameweek 30, their players are firmly on my radar. While I’m aware things can change very quickly, the likes of Eric Dier (£4.6m) and Ben Davies (£4.4m) don’t exactly fill me with much excitement. If Everton can start to improve at the rear, Pickford looks set for a strong end to the season. While the defensive statistics have Everton down in 17th, conceding a big chance every 25.7 minutes (only Leeds and Norwich are worse), Pickford is making a save every 19.3 minutes, an average bettered by just two goalkeepers. With more Double Gameweeks to come, as well as different strategies in play, it’s an exciting end to a turbulent campaign. Another Gameweek rolls by and we are now entering the final straight of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

FPL Player Comparison for Gameweek 29 | Kulusevski vs Saka (Fantasy Football Hub)

Going into Double Gameweek 29, mid-priced midfielders Dejan Kulusevski and Bukayo Saka look like the two hottest properties in their price range. Both play ...

As well as that, he has proven to be a reliable asset across the whole season, whereas Kulusevski has only returned in three games so far. They have made virtually the same amount of key passes per start, although Kulusevski has created more than double the big chances that Saka has per 90 minutes in his short spell so far. The Hub’s Points Prediction Tool projects Saka to outscore Kulusevski by 1.2 PPG across the next three. They face the likes of Newcastle and Brentford, whilst Arsenal boast trips to Crystal Palace and Southampton. Therefore, although the prediction tool suggests Saka will massively outscore him over the coming gameweeks, the difference should be smaller than projected. On the other hand, Kulusevski has already created almost as many big chances (4) as Saka (6), despite playing only six games compared with Saka’s 25. Alongside Spurs, they are one of only two teams to have three fixtures in the next two gameweeks. That being said, Saka is clearly getting the better chances on the whole. Arsenal’s games are both at The Emirates, including a plum fixture against a leaky Leicester side. In terms of goals so far, both players’ output is about the same. Both play twice in Double Gameweek 29, and have a fixture in Blank Gameweek 30. Brighton are also susceptible to counter attacks, conceding the joint-fourth most goals from counter attacks this season due to their patient possession style of play.

Fantasy Football: The ADP winners and losers of the NFL Combine ... (Pro Football Focus)

Examining players whose fantasy football ADP changed the most based on 2022 NFL Scouting Combine testing.

Among running backs, Kyren Williams fell from the RB4 of the class to RB5, and could have further to go. The biggest gainers in absolute number of draft spots are Christian Watson and Skyy Moore, whose ADPs rose 65 and 46, respectively. With Chris Olave rising and Kyren Williams falling, there is near a 50-spot gap in draft positions between the two tiers. I found the average draft positions for 2022 running back and wide receiver prospects in the week before and the week following the NFL Combine. The running backs are identified with red points, the wide receivers in blue. The dashed line indicates where a prospect would land if his ADP was unchanged, with those above the line having improved their ADP, and those below having fallen out of favor.

FPL team news: Gameweek 29 injury updates on Bowen, Ronaldo ... (Fantasy Football Scout)

We continue our coverage of the pre-Gameweek 29 press conferences, with headline injury updates from all Premier League managers whose teams are in action ...

There will be late checks on Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) and James Justin (fatigue), whilst Jamie Vardy will miss the next few weeks because of a knee injury. He’ll return to the team for sure.” We did manage to get Peter [Etebo] on for 15 minutes though, which was a positive.” – Roy Hodgson He’s worked hard to get back and will hopefully be back very soon.” – Brendan Rodgers Very quiet on the injury front for Steven Gerrard, with just Marvelous Nakamba (knee) unavailable. “He is a little bit fatigued. We’ll let the dust settle from this game and see how we are physically. Emile [Smith Rowe] looks like he is going to be available.” He trained well, like the rest of the group, so I would have thought that he’s available for tomorrow. We had a few little things but so far, nobody is out of training. He trained for the whole session and I expect him to be in training today as well. We have, on top of that however, Covid is not over.

The Scout Squad's best FPL players for Double Gameweek 29 (Fantasy Football Scout)

In the Scout Squad articles, Fantasy Football Scout contributors Az, Sam, Neale and Tom each propose an 18-man squad of Fantasy players with the focus solely on ...

Ivan Toney is level with Adams for that six-yard stat (an encouraging sign, perhaps, that he’s adding threat to his game beyond spot-kick duties), and he faces a Burnley side who have conceded six goals in their last two matches and who are again without Ben Mee this weekend. My piece from earlier in the week, in which I looked at the appeal of the Double Gameweek 29 also-rans, summarised my decidedly mixed thoughts on Everton, Newcastle and Brighton players. If you needed further convincing, Kane has banked two double-digit hauls in his last three Premier League matches for Spurs at Old Trafford and has returned in four of his last five Premier League meetings with Brighton. Son’s last Premier League visit to Old Trafford saw him deliver an 18-point haul in Spurs’ 1-6 victory, meanwhile. Across north London, there are cases to be made for any number of players, including Sergio Reguilion after Ryan Sessegnon was ruled out until after the March international break. Matt Doherty has produced 32 points across his last two starts and has posted some encouraging underlying numbers during that time, registering three shots in the box and six created chances. Arsenal also supply three picks: Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette. Against Watford, the Gunners’ did look a little vulnerable at the back, but Ramsdale can at least compensate with save points should he concede. Dominic Calvert-Lewin does admittedly feel a bit more punty, but with limited options elsewhere in the forward category, he’s probably worth the risk with two home games. Since Gameweek 22, Robertson has supplied more crosses than any other defender and is also top for chances created. Instead, the choice between Kulusevski and Son comes down to personal preference – and what you can do with the money saved, as £4.7m goes a long way. With both teams in good form, investment in these teams in all areas of the pitch seems sensible. With not a huge amount seperating them in the attacking data, for this week’s Scout Squad I’ve gone for the in-form Swede and given the last Spurs spot to the much-maligned Matt Doherty, whose impressive attacking performances have surely warranted a place in the starting XI across both games in the Double Gameweek. Gabriel Martinelli does present an intriguing differential, however, with just 2.7% ownership to Saka’s 23.4%. Over the season, Martinelli has an identical minutes-per-points average as Saka (15.7), which isn’t bad considering he costs £1.2m less.

Best FPL Midfielders for Double Gameweek 29 | Fantasy Football ... (Fantasy Football Hub)

Mohamed Salah suffered only his fifth blank of the season last Gameweek. He still remains the best asset in the game, with the best stats. He has 19 goals and ...

He has an xG of 9.0 and an xA of 6.4 (1st among Spurs team) and has clearly been one of the best attackers in the game. With four goals and one assist in his last three games, he looks to be the best Reds attacker at the moment after Salah. This is a good double for Son, and he has been their best player this season with the most goals and assists. Leeds United don’t have a double in Gameweek 29, but a fixture against Norwich (H) deems Raphinha worthy of inclusion here in my opinion. The Foxes have been in the bottom five all season for defensive stats. The Brazilian has been their talisman and is their top scorer this season, and that won't change under new management. Although Leeds haven’t been anywhere near as good as last season, and are in the relegation battle themselves, I still think they will be too strong for Dean Smith's team. At the time of writing, Raphinha has nine goals and two assists in 23 starts. Brighton have conceded 32 goals (6th) with an xGC of 32.8 (7th) so clearly have a good backline, but I don’t see it being enough to stop this Liverpool team. With a double fixture, he is likely to be the best captain pick for this week. Spurs have a double in Gameweek 29 against Manchester United and Brighton, both away from home. Mohamed Salah suffered only his fifth blank of the season last Gameweek. He still remains the best asset in the game, with the best stats.
