The last Formula One season ended in controversial circumstances when Max Verstappen took Lewis Hamilton’s title at the death. Toto Wolff will return to the track this month when the Bahrain Grand Prix starts on March 20. That was when she was named as a development driver for the Williams team, eventually becoming the first woman to participate in a F1 weekend since 1992 when she drove a practice session at the British Grand Prix.

Susie Wolff could have made her F1 debut at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, in place of Valtteri Bottas. Ahead of the 2014 British Grand Prix, Williams announced Wolff would run in a practice session for the team. Susie Wolff joins the cast of the F1-based Netflix show in 2022.

But she did so once more at the 2015 British Grand Prix. She began her career in British motorsport in the early 2000s It is a title won by athletes such as Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson.
