Parcel delivery company Hermes, which counts Asos, Marks & Spencer and John Lewis as clients, is changing its name to Evri as part of a complete rebrand to.
The new brand will see “significant investment” in its customer services, including the opening of a fully UK-based customer service team. Martijn de Lange, chief executive at Evri (formerly Hermes UK), said: “Our new brand has been developed with the people who are important to us – our customers, employees, couriers and partners. It has also pledged net-zero targets for direct and indirect emissions by 2035.

In addition, Evri is investing in its customer services and its environmental, social and governance (ESG) programme to further enhance the new brand. As a first step, Evri is to auto-enrol its self-employed plus (SE+) couriers into a pension plan by the end of the year. At the same time, after discussions with the GMB Union, it is offering maternity and paternity leave to its SE+ drivers from March this year.
