Tommy Robinson said he has been arrested to be deported while trying to take his children to Mexico on holiday,

The former UK Independence Party (UKIP) advisor spoke about being separated from his kids and ‘not being able to live a family life’ because ‘it is hard for him to live in England without being able to rent a house or open a bank account’. Robinson is expected to be deported back to the UK and may arrive back in England on Saturday. He claims he had taken his three kids to the seaside city for their half-term break before he was detained at the airport.

The video emerged the week after he failed to attend a high court hearing where he was to be questioned about his finances after losing a libel case.

In the footage, posted on his Telegram account, the 39-year-old says he flew to Mexico with his three children for an Easter holiday but was detained at the airport.
