As with any marathon, expect to see people in fancy dress and hear lots of cheering and clapping! Iโ€™m 66 and about to run my 4th marathon later today. But the pride of even completing such a tortuous distance is likely to be enough for some. READ THIS: Brighton Marathon Weekend 2022: Four events ready for return, start times, the marathon route and road closures. The marathon weekend is organised by Grounded Events and the community partner is American Express. Organisers said 20,000 people had registered for the main marathon back in January setting it up to be the largest Brighton Marathon to date.
