Better Call Saul airs on AMC in the US and on Netflix in the UK. "Instead of evading, I'll just say yeah. Breaking Bad fans have long speculated that the iconic leads might make an appearance in Better Call Saul and, with the spin-off drama's final season about to drop and with morally questionable lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) getting ever closer to his Breaking Bad alias Saul Goodman, it seems that the time has come for the two shows to intertwine.

Seehorn told the crowd that she too presumed such an unorthodox call from the execs could only be to inform her of a death, albeit for her fictional character. “The first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’” said Gould. “Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah.” For the sake of spoiler-avoidance, Gould refused to elaborate on the details of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s return following El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie but promised the long-awaited connective tissue between the two shows was not to be missed. That call was actually relaying the same good news that had just been shared with the PaleyFest audience: He had been tapped to direct an episode for the coming season.

Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn and their castmates teased what's ahead for season six and navigating Odenkirk's on-set heart attack.

“It blew my mind and it still does and that will resonate with me for the rest of my life.” And nine months later, he appeared to have taken a lighter approach to the experience; when asked to describe the final season in a few words, Odenkirk said, “Heart-stopping.” After Breaking Bad I thought I would never have an experience as rewarding, fun and creatively fertile as Breaking Bad, and this show for me has been just as good, for me maybe even a little bit better.” Of reading those final scripts, Rhea Seehorn confirmed, “I could not believe the weaving together of all of the storylines and the character stuff that they had to do, as Peter has said it was quite the Rubik’s Cube that he had to figure out. I love it and I hope everyone else does too.” And that decision on where to leave him was not planned out years in the making, but started coming together just last season. “As it worked out we came pretty close, but there were a lot of nuances that were very hard won this season.” “And I’m going to leave it to you to find out whether that is what happened.”

He could also get caught up in the whole Lalo lunacy, weaving all the threads of Jimmy’s life together in a deadly way. We know Jimmy and Kim jokingly but also kinda-very-seriously brainstormed how to wreck Howard’s career at the end of season 5. She's contributed to TechRadar, T3, Wired, New Scientist, The Guardian, Inverse and many more. A few major Better Call Saul characters don’t show up in Breaking Bad despite their close proximity to Saul and their role in the ongoing Salamanca/Fring feud. Howard Hamlin isn’t in Breaking Bad. Is this because he simply doesn’t have anything to do with Jimmy anymore? (We’d happily binge a dark and gritty Lalo spin-off if anyone wants to get started on that). Then again, he’s such an immensely watchable, larger-than-life presence on screen, we hope he sticks around to the very end. Jimmy and Kim weren’t responsible for the band of not-so-successful assassins attacking Lalo’s home at the end of season 5, but it’s not hard to imagine him showing up on their doorstep again, running on a full tank of rage and revenge — especially after Kim verbally kicked his butt last season. Maybe she and Jimmy simply break up and she gets the fully pro bono practice she dreamed of. This clip has been the source of huge speculation online and it’s easy to see why. Maybe Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) gets rid of him to hide his tracks. He probably assumes a gang of trained killers will have no problem taking out Lalo, but, of course, Lalo put up one hell of a fight.

Better Call Saul Recap: The Most Important Things That Happened ... (Collider.com)

Watching James McGill transform into Saul Goodman has been as wild of a ride as Jimmy's Esteem. Bob Odenkirk has taken his role as the morally corrupt ...

Lalo immediately suspects that Nacho played a part in the attempt on his life and storms into the darkness seeking vengeance. While successful in his attempt to get rid of Hector, Nacho also catches the attention of Fring. With his life in jeopardy, Nacho is forced to play both sides of the Fring and Salamanca war. With Kim feeling disenfranchised with her Mesa Verde work, she opts to help a man, Everett Acker (Barry Corbin) from being evicted from his home as Mesa Verde looks to build a call center. Focusing on the Jimmy and Chuck dispute, "Chicanery" is one of the best episodes in the Breaking Bad universe. After learning of the maleficence at the retirement home, Jimmy teamed up with his brother, Chuck (Michael McKean). Realizing the case was becoming more than a two-man job, the McGill brothers refer the case to HHM and Jimmy readies himself to join the firm. Together, Mike and Saul venture out of the desert and barely make it back into ABQ. After being cornered by both the law and Fring, Lalo decides to head back down to Mexico. He is then nearly killed by a team of "expert" assassins. The very first of many dominoes to fall in the making of Saul Goodman was Jimmy's scheme to con the Kettlemans involving the abuelita-insulting, skateboard riding twins (Steven Levine and Daniel Spencer Levine). Jimmy is soon introduced to the Salamanca crime family, as well as putting Nacho onto the Kettleman's money. Learning about the death of his son and Mike's subsequent revenge was a gripping moment and shed a light on the stoic enforcer. Lalo utilizes Nacho to do his dirty work, putting Nacho in a very difficult position to win Lalo's trust. Upon receiving his reinstatement, Jimmy officially decides to practice law under the name, Saul Goodman, surprising Kim yet again. Meanwhile, Kim takes on more work from Mesa Verde, falling asleep at the wheel and crashing due to being overworked. Better Call Saul is a show that reflects on character choices, and the consequences that come from those choices.

How Will Better Call Saul Reintroduce Bryan Cranston and Aaron ... (Den of Geek)

Breaking Bad's Walter White and Jesse Pinkman are confirmed to appear in Better Call Saul's final season. How will the prequel pull it off?

The Southwest meth kingpin known as Heisenberg dies in the Breaking Bad finale “Felina.” Unless Better Call Saul wants to get very trippy and have Saul and Walt remeet in the afterlife, the future is quite simply not an option for Walt’s cameo. And then Saul, now Gene Takovic, could meet Jesse in the future as they try to tie up some final loose ends. We also know that Jesse is alive and (reasonably) well in Breaking Bad’s present thanks to the events of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. The prospect of Walt and Jesse’s involvement in Saul’s final act is so enticing that Better Call Saul producers have decided to go ahead and just confirm it ahead of time! Better Call Saul began its story in 2002, roughly six years prior to when Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman met Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. As of the show’s fifth season, Saul’s story has reached 2004. The elegant solution to reintroducing Jesse to the Breaking Bad continuity would be via the use of a flashforward.
