Everton vs. Leicester City Prediction as BettingOdds.com provide Betting Tips and Latest Betting Odds for their Premier League Game on Wednesday 20 April ...

One player who has shown some class in recent weeks for the Toffees is Brazilian forward Richarlison. He managed a brace in his game before last, and tops the charts for both sections of this bet. I expect Everton to be well up for this game, in what should result in some cards for the home side. We could also see a lot of gamesmanship from Lampard men if they are hanging onto a result late on. He managed six away at Man City and cleared the line vs Liverpool, hitting two vs Everton should be straight forward given that he starts. The Foxes have lost six of their last eight league trips and are conceding an average of two goals per away game this term! £1 must be staked at Tyson Fury to win by KO, TKO or DQ at 30/1 or Dillian Whyte to win by KO, TKO or DQ at 100/1. Returns paid as 3 x £10 OR 5 x £20 in free bets (30 day expiry). Player & currency restrictions & terms apply.

Plus, the Brazilian still maintains a great level of physicality and aerial ability to boot. Richarlison being up front could actually be a much better recipient of that creativity from Iwobi if it remains at this high level. Frank Lampard has confirmed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be absent for between ten days and two weeks after picking up a small injury in Everton training this week. He’s much more suited to crosses into the box, using his superior heading ability or getting into dangerous areas inside the six-yard box. The Birmingham-born player is one of the few members of the Everton squad to have impressed this season but he's found things difficult in recent weeks and needs to rediscover his form from earlier in the campaign. He’s more likely to be making those runs in behind the centre-backs to get on the end of dangerous through balls, and more likely to drop back and join in a little earlier in a move too. Even if Calvert-Lewin was fit for this match, in his current form and considering the way Everton have set themselves up, I’d have been tempted to drop him in favour of Demarai Gray on the flank regardless. The 25-year-old was in the side the last time the Blues were in action against Manchester United, and was expected to keep his place as he continues to chase his first goal of the calendar year. Everton are currently three points clear of the bottom three with a game in hand and that could be extended to six points with victory over the Foxes tonight. This might be one of those occasions where the fans need something of a spark from those on the pitch to inspire them. The fans in the Gwladys are doing their best to get a few songs started, but this isn’t exactly the cauldron of noise that this stadium has been to push the side onto important results in recent weeks. As their starting line-up suggested, they are here to play and the last thing Everton needed was to be chasing this game.

The Foxes were unbeaten in three and will now look to get back on track against an Everton side fighting for their lives. The Toffees are three points clear of the drop zone with a game in hand on Burnley and a win would go a long way to securing their top-flight future.

Everton vs Leicester: Opposition Analysis | Opportunity Knocks (Royal Blue Mersey)

With tough games coming up the Blues must seize this chance at home to put more points on the board.

Just three points clear of relegation rivals Burnley (albeit with a game in hand), Everton face some arduous games in the near future: a visit to Anfield, followed by hosting reigning European champions Chelsea and then a return match against tomorrow’s opponents at the King Power Stadium. The Blues have all the advantages against Rodgers’ side, in terms of freshness, backing by the raucous Goodison Park faithful and ample time to work on a game plan. Maddison, deployed either behind a striker or, as more recently on the right is on course to break a personal record for goals scored in the league (currently on eight) and is a dangerous playmaker (3.55 SCA90 this term). Breakthrough star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is proving himself a genuine box-to-box midfielder in his debut campaign in the Premier League, offering indispensable energy and putting himself about defensively. Tielemans is an elite midfielder who controls much of Leicester’s play, a well-rounded and intelligent technician with an excellent passing range, who is contributing almost three shot-creating actions per 90 minutes (SCA90) played in the league. Defensively, the visitors have been missing key players throughout the season and have looked uncharacteristically vulnerable, conceding four times on the counter, joint fourth (with the Blues, again) in the league. Leicester’s visit to Goodison Park is the sixth of nine fixtures they play this month and their overall form has been good since the end of February, registering seven wins from 12 in all competitions. In the past two completed seasons, he’s led the team to back-to-back fifth place finishes in the league and a first FA Cup final win for the east Midlands outfit.

Manchester City v Brighton, Everton v Leicester: football clockwatch ... (The Guardian)

Join John Brewin for updates from the Premier League matches being played on Wednesday.

Having made the FA Cup final and recovered from exiting the Champions League, Chelsea have less at stake but Thomas Tuchel is not one for letting up on his players, though his team did lose this fixture in May last year when the Champions League final had been reached. Manchester City v Brighton (8pm UK time kick-off): Brighton were very good on Saturday at Spurs, to follow up beating Arsenal the previous week, and looked to pose a bigger threat to City than Liverpool did to Manchester United last night. Newcastle v Crystal Palace (7.45pm): Perhaps Palace’s season ended in that rather drab semi-final loss to Chelsea, but Newcastle have been fun to watch on the field of late, with Bruno Guimarães already hitting levels of Geordie South American folk hero of Nobby Solano levels. To face Crystal Palace, Newcastle make no changes from the team that beat Leicester while Palace make four changes from Wembley, including the return of Conor Gallagher to the team. Kevin de Bruyne is risen for City, and that’s a big deal, not least because Leandro Trossard, the Brighton match-winner at Tottenham, is absent. He is already on the bench and doing much better. The confidence he has to receive the ball in any area of the pitch shows a lot of courage and then there’s his work ethic as well. City are knocking on the door, and with real menace. It’s rancorous at Everton, where the home team have gone close after a slow start, Richarlison missing a good chance. Marcel Bout has departed from his role as head of global scouting after eight years with the club. Jim leaves the club with our warmest thanks for his significant contribution and our very best wishes for the future. On a more genuine note, I am pleased for Poch to land a league title given how often the trophy stick seems to be used to beat him.”

5’ - Goal. Everton have looked shambolic early and the Foxes take advantage on the Blues left. 55’ - Much much better from the Blues and the fans are getting into it too. Frank Lampard has had some positive news on the injury front and so will have more players to select from, but there rumours that striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out of the squad for tonight, supposedly as punishment for arriving late at training twice this week. Richarlison up top and Gray into the lineup against his former side. 27’ - Everton freekick in a promising position, the Foxes have been weak defensively at setpieces. 70’ - Poor pass from Gordon allows Fofana to charge forward and the Foxes win a corner. Them’s the breaks, and Everton are getting none of them right now, Foxes lead 1-0. Fofana gets his head to it and almost puts the game beyond Everton, ball flashes just wide of the post. Richarlison unmarked and cannot make solid contact and the chance is missed. 64’ - Dele’s first sustained bit of possession sees the Blues win a freekick in the middle third. 82’ - Richy wins a corner on the left. Corner is cleared, comes to Maddison who beats Dele and is hacked down.

Everton 1-1 Leicester City LIVE - Late Richarlison equaliser denies ... (Leicestershire Live)

Leicester City match updates from LeicestershireLive as Brendan Rodgers' men travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in Premier League action.

A lovely bit of passing play from Leicester sees them break into the box. The crowd are really up for this one here. 1-0 to City! A few half-chances for either side, but nothing major in the last 15 minutes or so. Fofana heads wide from the resulting corner. Demarai Gray leads a counter attack for Everton in the 17th minute, but Richarlison is unable to finish the move as he stabs his effort wide.
