Loose Women star Brenda Edwards will return to the show on Monday for the first time since the death of her son Jamal Edwards.

Tuesday will see Brenda make her comeback on the panel for the first time since Jamal's death, according to GMB's Richard. In a clip from her moving interview with co-star Coleen Nolan, she thanked the team for being there "at the end of the phone" and in person. The interview will air in full on Monday in what will no doubt be an emotional episode of the ITV series.

Brenda Edwards appeared in her first TV interview with Coleen Nolan today following the death of son Jamal Edwards in February.

Then he passed with me holding his hand, so I get a little bit of comfort from knowing I was with him.” Recalling the day he died, Brenda said: "The one thing that I do want to say is I was with him and his sister was with us, we were all at home.

She revealed she "needed" to return to the show and the time was right, as it was a part of Jamal's life just as much as hers. She added: "I've missed everyone but I thank you for supporting me, and being there at the end of the phone with me."
