To celebrate this new route, Ryanair launched a seat sale with fares available from just €19.99 one way for travel until the end of October 2022, which must be booked by Friday 29 April. Ryanair today announced a new route for its Malta Summer’22 schedule from/to Bournemouth. This new route, which will begin on 2 July, will operate twice per week on Tuesday and Saturday, further supporting Malta tourism recovery from its main inbound market, the UK, just in time for the summer holidays.

Bournemouth to gain new Malta route this summer (TTG)

Ryanair will launch twice-weekly flights to the destination in July. It brings the budget carrier's Bournemouth route network for the summer to 15.

Ryanair marketing director Dara Brady added: "The opening of this route from Bournemouth reinforces our commitment to increasing connectivity, and travel options for our UK customers, with 15 choices of destinations to and from Bournemouth this summer." Bournemouth airport managing director Steve Gill said he was pleased to see the resumption of flights to Malta. It brings the budget carrier’s Bournemouth route network for the summer to 15.

A council statement said: “Working with partners who have an interest in the Great Orme goats’ welfare, we recently collected a group of billy goats from private grounds in Craig-y-Don and transported them to the Great Orme. A SMALL contingent of the Y Gogarth - Great Orme goats have been relocated to Bournemouth, while another group has been transported from Craig-y-Don to elsewhere in Llandudno. Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) was involved in collecting a group of the goats from private grounds in Craig-y-Don and moving them to Great Orme, while another 15 have moved to Bournemouth on the south coast.
