Trump returned to his chair with a huge smile on his face. With Williams distracted, Trump quickly moved the pink and fired his next shot before the official had even turned around. After a fan coughed, Trump pointed towards the crowd and suggested there was a disturbance threatening to throw him off his game.

JUDD TRUMP is currently level with Stuart Bingham in their World Snooker Championship quarter-final clash.

Trump then quickly moved the pink with his hand and rushed his shot, hitting the brown but failing to pot it. Ronnie O'Sullivan is currently the only player to have made the final four, having beaten Stephen Maguire 13-5. With Trump hoping to make a century break, the 32-year-old found himself snookered behind the pink while needing to pot the brown.

Judd Trump is into the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship for a fifth time after a 13-8 win over Stuart Bingham at the Crucible.

I was completely gone at 8-5 and Stuart helped me a little bit.’ It will be the first time the Welsh legend and the Ace have met at the Crucible, or in fact in any of the three Triple Crown events, with their last meeting of much significance coming in the last 16 of the 2020 Scottish Open, which Trump won. The former world number one adds the scalp of Bingham to Anthony McGill and Hossein Vafaei who he saw off in the first two rounds.

Trump drew level with Stuart Bingham at 8-8 in the second session of the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible this afternoon. “A lot of the low-ranked players struggle to put food on the table.” Trump slammed the 11th-hour withdrawal, adding: “There is a lot of money to be played for in this tournament. He later said the “ridiculous” decision to let fans in could lead to a person dying “for no reason at all”. While there is a lot of respect between the pair, two years ago Trump hit out at O’Sullivan on the eve of the 2020 World Championships.

Judd Trump found something resembling top form at the business end of his clash with Stuart Bingham to secure a 13-8 win and a place in the semi-finals.

Bingham returned after the interval and threw his cue at the white in the hope of potting his way out of trouble. Trump made it six unanswered frames, and an 11-8 lead, when taking the 19th frame - but only after a counter from Bingham was halted in its tracks when he cued across a pink. It took a bit of time to close out the frame, but he did so when knocking in two reds in one shot.
