The woman then passes a skateboarder, some clubbers, a ballerina, a security guard, a construction worker and a hoard of other nighttime runners.

Samsung's advert of a woman running alone at 2am is tone-deaf (Metro)

Samsung's running advert follows a woman running around a deserted city at night, bouncing down alleyways in noise-cancelling headphones.

That would mean, since Sarah Everard’s death, 140 women have been killed at the hands of a man. I see education happening; questions being asked, and a burning desire to campaign for what’s right from both men and women. I don’t know a single woman that runs in the dark, never mind at 2am and alone in a city. I wish I could say: ‘Let’s rise up and overwhelm the dangers that we’re faced with’, but that would be irresponsible. In all honesty, I think this ad is more harmful than anything. It goes for running during the day, too.
