The show will be the third Marvel Studios series released this year, following “Moon Knight” in March and “Ms. Marvel,” which premieres June 8. Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed the news at the Disney upfront presentation in New York on Tuesday alongside series star Tatiana Maslany. They also debuted a trailer for the series, which can be seen below. She now works as a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases.

She-Hulk trailer: Release date for new Disney Plus MCU series (Polygon)

The She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series, starring Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, and Tim Roth, will come to Disney Plus with its first episode in August.

And adult orphans, for some reason.” The latest trailer for the upcoming Disney+ MCU show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is here, giving us a more in-depth look at Tatiana Maslany as the super strong lawyer. That’s for billionaires and narcissists.

That soul searching’s likely what leads to her meeting up with Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) that somehow leads to an experiment that leaves her with the ability to transform into a hulking (and very CGI-ed) version of herself who leaps into action as a new vigilante. Because the world’s filled with so many villains committing super crimes, Jennifer’s legal skills put her in high demand, but she isn’t quite certain that’s the kind of force for justice she wants to be. In addition to the Hulks, She-Hulk’s trailer also features a handful of glimpses of longtime Hulk foe Abomination (Tim Roth), pointing to how the series will find ways to connect to the larger MCU.

'She-Hulk' Trailer! Wrecking Crew! Wong! Titania! Plus A Prickly ... (The Cosmic Circus)

Aside for Thor: Love and Thunder, I am not more personally excited about a Marvel project than the upcoming She-Hulk series on Disney+. Today was a great.

This character wasn’t seen in the trailer, but likely is a version of either Marvel character Alexander Gentry or Roger Gocking who both went by Porcupine and wore the Porcupine armor. I also have a couple of confirmations for characters who I was able to confirm with sources the identity of in the trailer. There were a couple of images of new characters that I know people on Twitter are already guessing (correctly) but I was able to independently confirm with sources who they are. I can also exclusively share about a NEW character that is apparently also in the show. You can read more about the Wrecking Crew in the comics here. Those who follow me on Twitter will recall I posted that Wong would return for She-Hulk back in March.

Marvel Fans Upset Over She-Hulk CGI In New Trailer (The Direct)

The nine-episode Disney+ legal comedy will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner who gets her own gamma green transformation ...

The Mandalorian should serve as evidence alone that Disney is more than prepared to shell out movie-level budgets for Disney+, although there's no denying this may be Marvel Studios' most ambitious project to date in terms of CGI. Although there are still three months to go before the legal comedy premieres on Disney+, so there's plenty of time for these shots to be polished before release. Marvel Studios - much like most of the movie industry - has been suffering great difficulty as of late due to VFX delays. The vast majority of people don't have the slightest idea as to how difficult of a job it is. I'm aware it is TV but the STAR WARS stuff manages, and they have the budgets to adjust." With VFX hold-ups plaguing Hollywood productions and causing delays due to the COVID-19-induced backlog, Marvel Studios couldn't have picked a much worse time for this step.

She-Hulk: Fans defend Marvel show after trailer labelled 'woke cr*p' (The Independent)

'What in the woke, progressive, Spy Kids animation, unnecessary, bad idea, is THIS!' one unhappy Marvel fan said of the new project.

One person pointed out that the character of She-Hulk was created by Disney for “the prestigious reason of establishing a copyright ownership” – not “to appeal to ‘woke’ audiences”. Armed with her new powers, she works as a lawyer specialising in litigation for superheroes. Shortly after, the trailer was posted online on Marvel’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, some viewers criticised the studio for “woke pandering” with a show about a “female Hulk”.

Despite her strength and green skin, Jennifer just wants to be a “normal, anonymous lawyer” instead of a superhero. it feels good to get a more ‘grounded’ story on the main MCU earth for a change! Many were skeptical about the special effects. Others applauded the long-awaited arrival of She-Hulk. One social media user declared her “THE NEW FACE OF THE MCU.” “I’m a little worried about the CGI for her, but outside of that it looks like it is going to be an absolute blast of a show,” one person commented on YouTube. At her job, Jennifer’s firm wants to promote her to be the face of the “superhuman law division.” But after hours, she is struggling to keep her abilities under control.

She-Hulk Trailer Reveals Jennifer, Frog-Man, and More! (Den of Geek)

There are some fresh MCU faces in Marvel's first She-Hulk trailer, and also some very familiar ones.

As for the non-powered civilians to show up in the trailer, there’s nothing much to say. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for this guy down the line. Mark Ruffalo returns as the hybrid Hulk introduced in Avengers: Endgame. Considering his arms are both normal, I would imagine the scenes with him are flashbacks and take place during the Blip. The She-Hulk transformation initially appears to be like what the Hulk was initially: fear and anger turning the person into a rage monster. Jameela Jamil will be Titania, a character introduced in the original Secret Wars event back in 1984. It succeeded in keeping Walters alive, but it also gave her the ability to become a green gamma beast. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be coming out this August with nine episodes and, looking at the trailer, it gives us a comedic, albeit down-to-earth look at what society is in the MCU.

She-Hulk trailer: Fans defend 'rough' CGI as Tatiana Maslany arrives (Metro)

Tatiana Maslany smashes onto the scene in the official She-Hulk trailer as Bruce Banner's cousin as fans defend 'rough' and 'unfinished' CGI.

Hoping they actually listen to the criticism, but we will see I guess,’ another speculated. And being a Tatiana fan for a long while, having been following her work. ‘#SheHulk looks great, I am not worried about CGI. There is still a lot of time for Marvel to work on it. The trailer reveals a first look at Tim Roth’s return as Abomination in the series, a role he first played in Incredible Hulk and recently reprised in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. In a moment reminiscent of the humour associated with the character in the Marvel comics, at the end of the trailer, Jennifer is going on a stream of dates before one catches her attention, and the pair head back to her place – where she carries her date like a baby off-screen. Luckily, it works, and Jennifer appears to begin revelling in her new life as She-Hulk… and all of the glitzy fame that comes with being a superpowered being.

I doubt they would go to market with an unpolished She-Hulk. I definitely think they can clean up scenes like the ones we’re seeing here before release, but if not, maybe the show gets a delay to ensure it doesn’t debut as a meme. Is this is a problem for She-Hulk as a show? Many were looking forward to seeing She-Hulk get her own series due to love of the comic character.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Trailer: (Green) Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Vulture)

Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters in the trailer for Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The show will start streaming on Disney+ on August 17.

According to the lead of this nine-episode show, that’s a title reserved for “billionaires and narcissists and adult orphans.” Instead, Walters is still trying to live her life as a single woman in her 30s. About halfway through Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer, Jennifer Walters says, “I just want to be a normal, anonymous lawyer.” Unfortunately, that’s just not in the cards for her. We then see her carrying a man, presumably to her bedroom so they can…

Mark Ruffalo has been confirmed to be making the jump from the big screen to the small to reprise his role as Bruce Banner (his green alter-ego will be known as “Smart Hulk” in the show). Alongside Tatiana Maslany (who has also starred in Perry Mason and appeared opposite Nicole Kidman in 2018 film, Destroyer) in the title role, She-Hulk features a wealth of talented actors. She-Hulk will be the eighth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise.

She-Hulk's first Marvel trailer for Disney+ introduces a bonkers new MCU hero named Frog-Man.

It would also be wrong to completely write off Frog-Man given his potential for the upcoming Secret Invasion series. After Patillo joined the Misfits, he was revealed as a Skrull imposter. Even if Cox doesn't appear, it can tie Walters to the Nelson and Murdock law firm. The MCU has managed to turn sometimes-obscure heroes and villains like Egghead, Agatha Harkness and even Pip the Troll into believable additions. Leap-Frog used electronically powered coils to jump great distances, which he put to good use as a criminal. The upcoming live-action Disney+ series will introduce Bruce Banner's cousin to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it's no surprise that the trailer included Mark Ruffalo's Green Meanie too.

Titania certainly makes an impression in her fringed bodysuit, leggings, and gold-trimmed jacket, and while that’s completely different from the outfit she wears in the comics it’s certainly evocative of the 1980s, when she was first introduced into comic canon. In the comics, Titania is born as Mary MacPherran, an unassuming girl from Denver, Colorado who dreams of becoming a superhero. What you may not know is that the action-packed She-Hulk trailer featured our first glimpse of Titania, and she lives up to her name.

Marvel Fans Are Asking Why 'She-Hulk' Isn't Hulked Out (Forbes)

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the eighth MCU show on Disney+, starring Tatiana Maslany as the lawyer who transforms into the titular green giant, ...

The most recent comics lean towards a bigger, more intimidating She-Hulk. The trailer highlights the big difference between She-Hulk and (He)Hulk, as the latter looks like a green neanderthal, his body shape distorted by bulging muscle, like a gorilla overdosed on steroids. Fans also questioned the wonky CGI, as again, the difference between the two Hulks is quite dramatic - He-Hulk looks far more realistic, the visual effects team likely able to reuse the digital asset from the films, which has been perfected over several years of blockbuster appearances, as well as the character being older, more weather-beaten, which gives the creature more texture.
