BBC Breakfast news viewers are wondering where Sally Bundock is after the TV presenter who normally hosts The Briefing on BBC One has been missing from ...

She later updated fans to say, “Thanks for all the best wishes…. The TV presenter, who normally hosts the The Briefing on BBC One, has been recovering for the last four weeks after undergoing surgery to repair her ACL, MCL and meniscus – a knee injury. See you on the other side.” Hopefully all will go well and I will see you in June. Do stay tuned though, there is a top team in my absence.” I’m on leave for a bit and after that an operation to try and fix my knee. But this time it’s Sally Bundock who has sparked concern from viewers who are wondering why she isn’t presenting her usual slot.

Dan Walker has announced the date he is due to start his new job hosting 5 News - and it's so soon!

Dan announced the news of his departure from BBC Breakfast back in April and hosted his final show almost two weeks ago. The 57-year-old announced in March that she would be stepping down from daily news presenting to take up more wide-ranging opportunities. The dad-of-three is set to replace Dr Sian Williams, who has been the show's lead anchor since 2016.
