Burgess Park: Mass violence planned in South London park with ... (MyLondon)

The upcoming funfair at Burgess Park, Peckham, has reportedly been chosen as a spot for 'post code wars' and 'acid attacks' on June 2.

South London parents and young people have been warned to stay away from Burgess Park on Thursday, June 2 in case of a similar spate of crime. Awareness is being spread to try and make parents and young people avoid the park on June 2. In April, a funfair in Blackheath was overrun with hundreds of teenagers 'climbing on rides' and causing chaos. Hopefully the met police sees this and gets the park closed or get enough officers there to safeguard these young people." Patrick Campbell, a youth mentor and chef, also warned parents about the upcoming violence and told them to "keep their kids at home". There is a funfair on over the weekend and it is here that apparent threats of violence will supposedly be carried out.
