Anti-Abortion Rep. Lauren Boebert Reportedly Had Two Abortions (Jezebel)

The allegations were shared by the same PAC that targeted Rep. Madison Cawthorn.

The shameless hypocrisy is the problem. They claim no medical workers provided her records or health information, so HIPAA was not violated—information about the abortions came from other sources with knowledge of the situation. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) reportedly had two abortions and worked as an unlicensed paid escort.

When Boebert announced her campaign for Congress in December 2019, Senator Cruz donated at least $136,250.00 to the Boebert Campaign and helped her raise large sums of money during trips Boebert made to Texas. Then, Boebert, twenty-three at the time, had an abortion in 2009 at the Planned Parenthood Clinic in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, "due to her work with a SugarDaddyMeet.comclient". "Lauren Opal Boebert is as big of a hypocrite as Madison Cawthorn. He says one thing and does another. According to our investigation, Boebert was hired by a wealthy male client in Aspen, Colorado, who was a Koch family member. The shameless hypocrisy is the problem. The American Muckrakers PAC, Inc. (the same political action committee that leaked damning photos and videos about Rep. Madison Cawthorn), issued a press release claiming Rep. Lauren Boebert was an unlicensed paid escort and had two abortions. Newsweek reached out to Boebert's staff about the PAC's claims. Boebert had an abortion at a clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado, sometime in 2004 or 2005 when she was approximately eighteen years old. Fake News. Four Pinocchios. Also… Y'all need Jesus!" To which American Muckracker's PAC (tweeting under the handle @FireBoebert) replied, "No. Second. Term. For. Boebert. If it's fake news, then sue us. We would love to depose you about these matters. The release also claims Boebert met senator Ted Cruz in Aspen, Colorado through an introduction by a Koch family member and "client," and that Cruz donated "at least $136,250.00 to the Boebert Campaign and helped her raise large sums of money during trips Boebert made to Texas." Rep. Boebert responded to the allegations by tweeting: "Fact Check: Not true.

Is This Lauren Boebert With Two Near-Naked Men? (Snopes.com)

Social media users should be wary of photographs that start circulating after a scandal. · Allegations Against Boebert · Origins of a Viral Photograph.

The claim that Boebert is pictured in this photograph appears to have been made up in an attempt to malign the politician. When her name started appearing in captions of this photograph circa 2022, it did so without any evidence to support that identification. There’s no evidence that the woman in this photograph is Boebert. It has been circulating for years unattached to Boebert’s name. It wasn’t until after Boebert became a public figure that her name was unduly attached to it. The group claimed that this showed how Boebert, a politician who is anti-abortion and who touts family values, was a hypocrite. When Boebert addressed these claims, labeling them as fake news, many social media users responded by sharing a photograph that supposedly showed the congresswoman with two nearly naked men.

After the anonymous source writes that they “don’t get” why Cruz would support Boebert’s political aspirations, the interviewer asserts, without any proof, that Boebert was blackmailing Cruz. The text messages describe Boebert as a sex worker plucked from obscurity on a sugar-daddy website by one of her clients, a member of the Koch family. But the woman in the picture is actually Melissa Carone, a supposed voter-fraud witness cited by Rudy Giuliani, according to a Daily Mail report from 2020. The salacious Boebert accusations were fueled, in part, by the fact that American Muckrakers PAC’s founders have backed up their outlandish claims against another Republican congressman. But it urged its nearly 400,000 Twitter followers to retweet the claims “IF YOU THINK THAT IT SOUNDS TRUE” anyway. The allegations quickly circulated in anti-Trump “Resistance” communities online.

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert has been accused of abortion "hypocrisy" based on allegations from a political action committee that targeted Madison Cawthorn.

“Fact Check: Not true. “When Democrats tried to codify Roe v. It was in that same context that American Muckrakers got a lot of attention as Cawthorn waged his bid for re-election last month. “We just felt that this video and his hypocrisy needed to be pointed out.” “I support overturning Roe v. Boebert says on her official House webpage devoted to “Pro-Life and Family Values” that she believes abortion is “evil.” She also vowed to “always defend the right to life” and said she is in favor of making abortion illegal.

Sure, one could call Boebert a hypocrite for allegedly having abortions despite publicly opposing them. One commenter called her a “batshit crazy woman.” A Twitter user replied to the article link with the word “Skank!!!” A recent Reddit thread related to a follow-up post contained some comments too obscene to post here. These claims come from a heavily redacted set of anonymous text messages sent to a member of the American Muckrakers PAC, without corroboration. And we know, as I reported, that she consistently failed to pay employees at her restaurant, Shooters Grill. The political action committee that helped bring down Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) has released a series of salacious and likely false accusations against Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)—and online liberals are eating it right up. To be sure, these outlets have published unverified claims from a politically motivated organization as if they were facts, all in pretty clear violation of good journalistic practice.

Only 13 days before Colorado's primary election, Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is fending off fresh attacks on her character.

The “Cruz 20 for 20 Victory Fund” donated $136,250 to Boebert’s campaign in two separate donations in September 2020. American Muckrackers claimed that two of the photos were part of her profile on the dating website. It also claimed that the abortion allegations were verified with another source. According to the site, the service was founded in 2007. American Muckrackers alleged that Boebert did not disclose a $70,500 contribution from Cruz, but a donation of that same amount is listed in filings from the PAC and Boebert’s campaign. Her first son was born in March 2005.

It’s also interesting to us that the press had the lawyer’s letter before we did. “We verified the abortion claims with another source. “To be clear, Rep. Boebert was pregnant with her first son in 2004 and 2005 and he was born in 2005, she was pregnant with her third son in 2008 and 2009 and he was born in 2009, and she has never had an abortion,” Mr. Anderson said in the letter. “All the facts came from a source we trust and others on our team know,” said the group in a Wednesday update. He added that it “was Lauren Boebert who created these problems and she never takes any responsibility. I am not going to stand by and pretend this is normal behavior.” In his letter, Mrs. Boebert’s attorney refuted a dozen accusations made by Muckrakers about Mrs. Boebert, including claims that she worked as an escort; that she met Sen. Ted Cruz through a client who belonged to the Koch family; and that she had abortions in 2009 and “2004 or 2005.” “We have contacted the Daily Mail to confirm the identity of the photo as our source still claims it is Boebert,” said Muckrakers in its post. If we do, we’ll let you know. “We have received the letter and our legal counsel will respond directly to her counsel,” he said in an email. Mr. Anderson said that “we also have evidence, including internal Muckrakers’ text and email communications, that demonstrates Muckrakers did in fact publish statements knowing those statements to be false.” Mrs. Boebert released a letter from her attorney to the American Muckrakers PAC and issued a statement denying the “blatantly false and disgusting accusations” posted Tuesday on the group’s “Fire Boebert” website.

Those Lauren Boebert Escort and Abortion Rumors Are Almost ... (RELEVANT Magazine)

On Wednesday, lurid and juicy rumors about Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert hit the internet like a megaton bomb, immediately trending. Those rumors involved.

The interviewer, a staffer who works for the PAC, leaps to the conclusion that Boebert must have been blackmailing Cruz. We just have an anonymous source and Wheeler’s word that the source is trustworthy. The texts are heavily redacted and, as the Daily Beast puts it, read like “lurid liberal fan fiction.” This “source” claims that Boebert worked as an escort and got at least two abortions. The rumors spread quickly because they were just too good to fact check, which is too bad, because a little factchecking shows they’re almost certainly bogus. Those tawdry videos were legit, but there is no such video evidence for the claims made against Boebert. All we have are screenshots of text messages from an anonymous source claiming to be in the know. Those rumors involved the fiery, far-right politician’s alleged past work as a sex worker and claimed she’d procured multiple abortions before becoming a very high profile and public critic of Roe v Wade as a politician.

Republican Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) responded to claims that she was a 'unlicensed paid escort' who 'had two abortions' calling it "fake news".

"We are going to use our network, hard work, and good people in Colorado to fire Lauren Boebert on June 28, 2022," the ' About Us' section of the website says. In a letter exclusive obtained by Fox News Boebert's attorney called the accusations "blatantly false and disgusting". The organization previously led a coalition against former North Carolina Representative Madison Cawthorn which ultimately led to him losing his seat. "Much like Cawthorn, Lauren Boebert presents a clear and present danger to American democracy. The organization says they uncovered the information from an unnamed verified source close to the matter and extensive investigation. "While we take the legal threat very seriously, if Boebert does file a lawsuit we'll defend it vigorously and then likely counter sue for intimidation and other acts against our supporters, and staff," David B. Wheeler, co-founder and President of American Muckrakers said in a statement.
