Djokovic was streets ahead of Kecmanovic as he moved his compatriot around the court, produced an array of mesmerising shots and kept his concentration to the end. The 22-year-old goes on to save two break points as Djokovic hits two shots long. It's too easy for Djokovic as he tantalises the challenger to go 40-0 up.

It feels like it's been a while since he hit one as good as that but Djokovic rattles a forehand winner down the line to get to 40-0. Djokovic miss-times his shot and a forehand goes high into the air before Kecmanovic rattles off an ace, 40-0. Djokovic slips mid-rally but that doesn't take anything away from the perfectly executed backhand volley across court from Kecmanovic to go 30-15 up. Djokovic gets two break points but can't return the first serve. He then fires a weak backhand into the net and Kecmanovic has break point. Djokovic hits two errors himself, 30-30, and then can't return a backhand from the back of the court.
