Wales breaking news plus weather and traffic updates (Wednesday ... (WalesOnline)

Hello, and welcome to Wales Online's live blog for Wednesday, July 6. We will be bringing you all of the latest news from across Wales - whether you're on ...

The south coast will remain clear with a risk of hill fog. One of the drivers arrested during an M4 'go slow' protest has claimed police held her in "absolutely disgusting" conditions and hit her with a ยฃ150 charge to get her car back. A cloudy start with patchy light rain in the north. Cardiff Crown Court also heard the 30-year-old also hit the woman with a baseball bat and also attacked a second woman with a whiskey bottle who tried to intervene. The Welsh Ambulance Service said two rapid response vehicles and an emergency ambulance to the scene. A clear, dry evening for most, but it will become cloudy through the night. Vicky Stamper, from Cwmbran, was among 12 drivers arrested shortly before 11am on Monday near the M4 Severn Bridge, on suspicion of breaching a police notice not to drive under 30mph. Eyewitnesses saw a police cordon in place in an alley behind The Neon venue on East Usk Road, off Clarence Place. A police spokesperson said a man, aged 17, from the area was taken to University Hospital Wales, Cardiff, after sustaining minor stab wounds to his face. With striking orange and brown markings, many were spotted on a Pembrokeshire beach at the weekend prompting people to ask what they were.
