Online fast fashion retailer Missguided has changed its official company name after it was rescued by Frasers Group in a £20m deal at the start of last month.

Frasers chief exeucitve Michael Murray commented last month: “We are delighted to secure a long-term future for Missguided, which will benefit from the strength and scale of Frasers Group’s platform and our operational excellence. Passi said at the time: “Frasers Group has an unrivalled platform and fantastic operational know-how, giving Missguided a solid foundation on which we can build a successful future. // The company will officially be known as MGL Realisations (2022) Limited but will continue to trade as Missguided

According to BBC reports, other online retailers such as Boohoo, Asos, and JD Sports could be among the next to express interest in a rescue deal similar to that of Missguided's. After he was reinstated as the chief executive of Missguided, Mr Nitin Passi said in a statement: "I am acutely aware of the impact Missguided's administration has had on our stakeholders and I am committed to rebuilding their trust". Frasers' purchase of the company was followed by the rehiring of Missguided's founder Nitin Passi, to become the firm's chief executive.

Then, in autumn 2021, the company was saved by investment firm Alteri, which then announced a review of its business model in December as it tried to turnaround the business.
