Leicester 1-2 Notts (Notts County)

Kairo Mitchell and Aden Baldwin were both on the scoresheet as we recorded an impressive pre-season victory away at Leicester City.

Substitute keeper Jakub Stolarczyk made an excellent save at his near post to keep his side level. But we got the second goal we deserved on 78 minutes when Roberts swung in the perfect free-kick for Baldwin to score with a commanding header. But Mitchell's poacher's effort restored parity before the break, leaving the stage set for Baldwin to head home the winner in the second half.

It's from a tight angle, and the ball just rolls wide of the post. Iheanacho will captain a team of players from the development squad and academy. He is yet to even make an appearance for the development squad, having been with the Under-18s for all of last season. One of the youngest players in this first-half team, Shane Flynn, has made a good start. There's good build-up down the right and Daka finds Wright inside the box. They've had to deal with a lot of balls into the box this second half from corners and from open play, but so far they are coping with them pretty well. Here's a reminder of the second-half team, with Iheanacho the only senior player involved. He sets himself and bends a brilliant shot onto the post from 20 yards. Wormleighton, usually a right-back is playing at centre-back with the other trialist Appiah. Hughes dinks a ball into Iheanacho and he is allowed to turn. There will be a fair few development squad players involved across the squad too, with Rodgers welcoming plenty into his senior training squad over the first two weeks of pre-season. And there are expected to be plenty of players featuring for Brendan Rodgers' side.
