Sweden v Switzerland: Women's Euro 2022 Group C – live! (The Guardian)

Fridolina Rolfo opened the scoring in the second half but Ramona Bachmann hit back a minute later but replacement Hanna Bennison fired the winner to put ...

45 min: Glas is marched back a few metres for their latest throw in but the brutal Swiss defence come away with it. The ref seems happy with the challenge but I’d argue for a free kick there. The ball came thundering in but it’s cleared off the posts and Sweden attempted a counter but it was rushed. 51 min: A foul on Rolfo breaks up the Swedish attack but they are still in the driving seat. Hurtig does well to win a throw in and Sweden are off once again. 69 min: Sweden make a double change as Hurtig and Angeldal sre on for Kaneryd and Bennison. For Switzerland Maendly is off for Mauron. And how, oh how, have Sweden not scored?! 60 min: Asllani is down but she has got back to her feet, the ref hasn’t stopped play. 87 min: Asllani is the last touch of a barrelling ball but her overhead kick sails over the bar. But in this one Rolfo and Bennison were the difference and if you want a recap check it out below. 90 + 3 min: Switzerland do amazingly well to close down a chance as Sweden had an added player in the box. It was a quiet first half in terms of scores and Sweden will be frustrated with the chances they missed. Switzerland can take heart from their defending but they will have to win their last group match for a hope of staying in it, they will face the Netherlands.

Sweden v Switzerland live stream: How to watch Euro 2022 from ... (FourFourTwo)

Sweden will be looking for their first win of Euro 2022 when they do battle with Switzerland in Sheffield in the early kick-off on Wednesday.

To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. Their opponents did not let their heads drop and found the net twice in seven second-half minutes to deny the Swiss all three points. Indeed, Gerhardsson's women will probably have too much quality for the Swiss here. But they were unable to hold onto that advantage, and the Dutch drew level after the break. Nils Nielsen may well look back on that 2-2 draw as the decisive result in his team's campaign. The Swedes drew 1-1 with the Netherlands last time out in what was perhaps the most eagerly anticipated of all eight fixtures on matchday one.

Is Sweden vs Switzerland on TV today? How to watch and live ... (Football.London)

The second round of fixtures from Group C of the Women's Euro 2022 sees Sweden take on Switzerland in a David and Goliath match-up.

The Swiss however, will have nothing to lose and Sweden will be foolish to expect an easy game. Sweden are one of the favourites to go all the way and win the tournament this year and they find themselves up against a Swiss side that didn't make it out of their group in 2017. The game takes place at Bramall Lane, where up to 32,050 fans will get the chance to see a Swedish side full of stars such as Barcelona's Fridolina Rolfo and Arsenal's Stina Blackstenius in action.
