The woman's accusation is revealed as part of a BBC News investigation into new claims of sexual abuse.
She recalls telling him she was about to turn 20, and he replied saying he wished he had had more time to have sex with her when she was a teenager. But she says he started messaging and calling her regularly, "pestering" her to come over to his house. She says she was left completely shocked by her encounter with the DJ and thought of going to the police. Shortly afterwards he touched the friend's bottom - "smacked it almost" - and when she turned to challenge him he sipped on his drink "like nothing had happened". At the time he told her he was 27, though she later discovered he was in his 40s. She says she didn't think it was going to be anything more than that given the age gap - Mr Westwood was 26 years older than her. She says the DJ met her in west London and drove her to a flat. She says she first met Mr Westwood at his office in Carnaby Street, London. At some point, she says he asked to meet up with her. Of all those who have spoken to the BBC and the Guardian, Esther was the youngest at the time that she says the DJ had sex with her. Paige won a dance competition and was invited to the DJ booth to pick up her prize. She says the DJ saw her one night and asked her for her number. She and her friends were big fans of the DJ's hip-hop show on Capital radio, and they would often call the programme for a shout-out.
A woman has alleged the DJ had sex with her multiple times when she was 14. He has previously denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
Among them are allegations from a woman who claims she met the DJ at a student club night when she was 20 and allegedly was sexually assaulted by Westwood in his hotel room by him pushing his penis in her mouth while she was resisting. The woman, who claims her encounters with Westwood began when she was 14, says she first met him at a club night in 1990 after being a fan of him, with her and her friends often trying to get shout-outs from him on his Capital FM show. Westwood had faced allegations from a number of women, all of whom are black, in April accusing him of predatory and unwanted sexual behaviour and touching which is claimed to have occurred between 1992 and 2017. She claims she and her friends became regulars at his club nights and he would recognise them and let them in for free, before later asking to meet up with her, where she claims he offered her a drink and they sat and talked before kissing. The accuser claims the DJ, now 64, was in his 30s at the time of the alleged incidents, and is one of several to come forward after an investigation by BBC News and the Guardian into claims of misconduct and abuse dating from 1990 to 2020. Westwood has previously strongly denied other allegations of sexual misconduct, with his reps saying in a past statement: ‘Tim Westwood strongly denies all allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
He has also been accused by three others of assaulting them as teens.
He was later given his own show by BBC Radio 1. "Tim Westwood strongly rejects all allegations of wrongdoing." The radio presenter left Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra in 2013 after nearly 20 years and returned to Capital Xtra to host a regular show on Saturday nights, where he was referred to as "The Big Dawg".
The woman, who is now in her forties, claimed the experience later led to her attempting to take her own life.

Whatever the results of the investigations, I want the public to instinctively rally behind the alleged victims.
I want the public to rally behind them, to believe them, to fight for them instinctively – echoing the concerns they will have in many cases spent years agonising over, fully aware of how readily society could dismiss them altogether. It’s in the treatment we receive when we’re in medical settings, the extra steps we have to take to prove we’re worthy – even capable – of tenderness. Further developments have also emerged, with a woman alleging abuse at the hands of Westwood when she was 14 years old. In April, after the release of the BBC documentary Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power, the BBC’s director general, Tim Davie, had said: “I’ve seen no evidence of complaints. So, when a joint BBC and Guardian investigation came out in April, with several black women – many of them darker skinned – alleging sexual misconduct at the hands of Westwood, I was glad that something had finally cut through. The prospect of black women unseating any man, let alone a white man, from a position of power in Britain, of being listened to when they said they had been mistreated or abused, seemed impossible in a country that so often dismisses us.
