Alfie must also be securely held on a lead at all times which should be attached to a collar and not a harness in public by a person aged 16 or over. The court ordered the pair had to ensure Alfie is kept under ‘proper control’ and fitted with a muzzle at all times when in public, when in a vehicle and at home when there are others present and at any property when there are others present to prevent him from biting.
