Newcastle kick-off back-to-back friendly matches at St James's Park with a clash against Serie A side Atalanta.
Tickets for the clash with Atalanta are still available to purchase but supporters will be charged more for buying tickets on the day of the game, rather than in advance. They reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League in 2019/20 and were knocked out at the same stage of the Europa League this season. Atalanta are the first team that Howe’s side will come up against and promise to be a very tough test of the Magpies’ credentials.

The club say that there will be no cash turnstiles in operation, so if turning up in person to buy nearer the time of the match, you would have to go and buy at the ticket office and NUFC warning they expect to be busy. If you book online or over the phone, I think you then just turn up and get your tickets from a collection point which is a much quicker process.
