Harlem Eubank has taken a different path than his cousin Chris ... (talkSPORT.com)

Harlem Eubank is related to British boxing royalty, has a dangerous left hook, an unbeaten record – yet came up via a tougher path than his cousin,

But Harlem is doing and saying the right things as he plots his own path to escape his uncle’s imposing shadow. A more sombre bond he shares with Chris Jr is that both were incredibly close to Seb Eubank – Chris’s brother and Harlem’s cousin – who shockingly died of a heart attack at the age of only 29 a year ago. “I’m fully aware of the two sides of the coin; how it can develop you as a person, the life it can give you and what it can take away from you. Instead Harlem is a skilful stylist with quick hands, sharp reflexes and at his best from distance. He was a youth British karate champion twice, at age 10 and 11 – not that that impressed his extrovert uncle. The 14-0 Harlem is the son of Chris Eubank Sr’s older brother, Simon, also a boxer.

Harlem Eubank Extends Unbeaten Streak With DQ Win in Newcastle (BoxingScene.com)

Harlem Eubank extended his unbeaten record to 15 fights with a ninth-round disqualification over Mexico's Eliot Chavez, who was thrown out after twice ...

As the rounds wore on, Nad seemed to get used to taking the blows, as her impressive durability and constant forward motion made Whiteside work hard and Whiteside picked up a nasty cut beside her right eye in the fifth round. And it did, with only 47 seconds left in the ninth round, Pringle shouted break and separated the pair, only for Chavez to land a left hook. He has written about boxing for a wide variety of publications worldwide since the 1980s. Eubank took time to recover, and Pringle let Chavez off with a warning, saying he would be disqualified if it happened again. She then walked straight into Whiteside, who hit her repeatedly with right hooks and uppercuts, although this time she took them well. Referee Kenny Pringle said “stop boxing” and Eubank stepped back with his hands down, but Chavez kept throwing landing one punch and then following up with another that sent Eubank crashing to the canvas.
