RANGERS B Team collected three points after a 6-3 victory against Cumbernauld Colts at Broadwood Stadium this afternoon.
Less than ten minutes before the close of play, Lyall netted the sixth and final goal for his side after he picked the ball up in the Colts' half. He managed to link up with the cross, but his effort drifted over the crossbar. As the squad returned for the second half, Rangers continued to carry that final third threat towards the Cumbernauld Colts goal with Lindsay delivering a fantastic corner into the box. Following this, the Gers began to pressure the Colts backline again and youngster, Lovelace, was on hand to supply a dangerous threat. This jarred the home side as they looked to rectify the score and close the deficit. McCann stood up to execute the spot kick and he calmly slotted it past Ryan Adamson to give David McCallumโs side the early advantage.
