DEADPOOL fans have been waiting almost five years for the next movie in the franchise, but now the character is owned by Marvel, and he is getting his own ...

And viewers of the Marvel movie will likely want to watch the sequel, Deadpool 2, shortly thereafter. And Kevin Feige has revealed what's coming for the merc with the mouth. "Again," Feige went on. "A very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life." Thankfully, they can do so on Disney Plus, as Fox was bought up by Disney in recent years, meaning Wade Wilson is back where he belongs with Marvel. But this also means that the next Deadpool movie is going to be included in the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe. And plans are already being hatched to bring it to life.

Deadpool's Original Powers Prove Only Robin Williams Could Do ... (Screen Rant)

Deadpool, the comic king of pop culture references, has much more in common with the legendary Robin Williams than one might initially think.

The animators played with what Williams gave them, which took the comedic character to a whole new level, breaking apart the fourth wall in the process. It is hard not to picture how perfectly Williams' referential style of comedy would play along with Deadpool’s pop-culture-heavy abilities. Early on, Deadpool has an image inducer practically plugged into him, allowing him to disguise and change his form with ease, much like the beloved blue animated Genie made famous by Williams. Deadpool being Deadpool, of course he has tons of fun with it.

Following Captain America's unintended team-up with Deadpool, it seems as though the Merc With the Mouth might start working for a major Marvel foe.

While Doom could easily just be holding Wade and putting him in his dungeon, it does feel as though something bigger could be afoot. While Doctor Doom allows Captain America to leave with a brutal warning about any future incursions he surprisingly tells Deadpool to stay, a potential tease that the ruler of Latveria has plans for the Merc with the Mouth. However, Doom confirms that the smugglers were instead bringing in humanitarian aid to his nation.
