Premium Bonds: NS&I explains how to 'further' chances of prize as ... (Daily Express)

PREMIUM BONDS offer NS&I savers the opportunity to win large sums of money each month, but is it possible to boost these chances of winning?

The largest unclaimed prize is £5,000 and is from the March 2007 prize draw. Savers can find out how to do this on the NS&I website. The oldest unclaimed prize is from April 1962 and is worth £25. The oldest unclaimed prize in Sefton is from March 1965, valued at £25. The winner also holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds and purchased their winning Bond in February 2018. Lucky bondholders could win as much as as £1million land in their account if chosen and although winners are generated at random, there is a way to further the chance of securing a prize.
