For the 200 or so City fans that left home at some unholy hour this morning and won't get back until late tonight, have paid £32.50 for the chance to watch such a pitiful display. City were beaten 3-0 at home by Stoke City on Tuesday night, a result that follows on from a Yorkshire derby defeat to Sheffield United and a 3-1 thumping at QPR, so the need for Shota Arveladze's men to halt the slide is imperative against a Swansea outfit yet to win at home this term in the lunchtime kick-off in front of the television cameras. The Tigers' bright start to the season and the momentum built up by three successive home wins is in real danger of fizzling out, so they'll be desperate to head back to East Yorkshire this evening with a positive result ahead of the international break. Alarm bells are ringing for Shota Arveladze, and the Hull City head coach admits he doesn't know if he'll be in charge come Luton a week on Friday. Between now and kick-off we'll have all the build-up, team news, and live action from the Swansea.com Stadium throughout the afternoon, so stick with us. Hull City will arrive in South Wales this afternoon looking to halt a run of three straight defeats that has seen them go from third in the Championship to 17th.

Naughton did well to pick out Cundle who beautifully flicked into the path of Piroe whose shot was well blocked by Callum Elder. But they finally got the breakthrough they deserved in the 61st minute as Sorinola cut on to his left foot before picking out Manning at the back post to volley home. And Piroe notched his fourth goal of the campaign late on to ensure Swansea went into the international break with a morale-boosting win to celebrate. Swansea were in complete control by this point, and the lively Ollie Cooper was unfortunate not to bulge the net after having a shot saved by Nathan Baxter before seeing his follow-up effort take a deflection. And it got better for Swansea three minutes later as they were gifted a second goal. Naughton also took a knock for his troubles after heading clear, and the disruptions dampened what had been a lively opening. But the hosts had clearly done their homework and looked to inflict further misery on Shota Arveladze's side who had conceded 15 times in their previous five matches. Piroe was then unable to make firm contact with Manning's corner before Ben Cabango's follow-up effort was blocked by Tobias Figueiredo. But the hosts maintained their high intensity and took the lead through Ryan Manning's volley just after the hour mark. Hull failed to clear their lines after challenging Cooper in their own box, and the ball fell into the path of Cundle who tapped home his first Swansea goal after a mix-up between goalkeeper Baxter and Tobias Figueiredo. The Swans hit back though and were once again denied by the frame of the Hull goal as Cundle cut on to his left foot before drilling against the crossbar. The Tigers - who went into the match on the back of three successive defeats - looked to start on the front foot in the south Wales sunshine and saw Jean Michael Seri drive at goal from distance, although Steven Benda was alert to tip the effort over the crossbar.
