Hull failed to clear their lines after challenging Cooper in their own box, and the ball fell into the path of Cundle who tapped home his first Swansea goal after a mix-up between goalkeeper Baxter and Tobias Figueiredo. The Swans hit back though and were once again denied by the frame of the Hull goal as Cundle cut on to his left foot before drilling against the crossbar. The Tigers - who went into the match on the back of three successive defeats - looked to start on the front foot in the south Wales sunshine and saw Jean Michael Seri drive at goal from distance, although Steven Benda was alert to tip the effort over the crossbar.
