Sir Tony Blair was Queen Elizabeth II's 10th Prime Minister and served for a decade.

In a recent interview with the US TODAY channel, Sir Tony said: “It was very difficult for her. Sir Tony Blair wore his Order of the Garter today as he said goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II at her funeral. She was trying to balance what she had to do as a Queen and what she had to do as a grandmother. In a sign of the Queen's respect for the former Prime Minister, Sir Tony was today invited to attend both ceremonies of the late monarch's funeral. “But in terms of how she was she was in amazing form, warm and humorous.” The former Labour Prime Minister, who had only been in office a few months, persuaded the Royal Family to fly the standard at half-mast and for the Queen to give a statement to the nation and world.
