[statement published on Twitter](https://twitter.com/Pharmacy2U/status/1574334158641430532), Pharmacy2U asked its patients “to be mindful of the strikes if you are needing your medication over this time”. However, it reassured patients that “all orders” will continue to be dispatched via Royal Mail’s ‘Tracked 24’ postage “for the duration of the strikes”. Meanwhile, further “functional strike action” will affect part of Royal Mail’s operations for several days in November and across December 1-2, the postal service company wrote on its website yesterday (September 29). Pharmacy2U has asked its patients “to be mindful” of planned Royal Mail strikes when ordering their medication over the affected period, as new days of industrial action have been announced.

Significant disruption is still likely on the dates below, but as not all staff are involved Royal Mail says it will only affect "parts of our operation". Special Delivery mail will still be prioritised "as resources allow" but the usual next-day guarantees are being suspended and customers can't claim compensation for delays. These are likely to be the days with the worst disruption as it involves delivery and collection staff, as well as those who sort parcels and letters.
