While the first Reacher film was a success by most metrics, the sequel failed to live up to the hype. The Magnolia star has dabbled in every genre but is best known for his work in various action flicks — including the Mission: Impossible and Top Gun franchises, which have been some of the biggest blockbusters in all of history.

Tom Cruise has opened up on his love of Britain, as he admitted his frequent visits are not always related to work.

I spend a lot of time in Britain and that's not just for work reasons. "It's a fantastic blend of old and new. [Tom Cruise](/latest/tom-cruise), 60, has lifted the lid on his relationship with the UK as he compared its sights to what he normally is surrounded by in America. Revealing his love for Britain, Tom said: "I guess I am an Anglophile. "I was brought up to be well-mannered and you really get that in Britain," he added in an interview with The Mirror. He went on: "That's the reason I have made a few other visits in my own time that have nothing to do with work.
