How we scored the Leicester City players as Brendan Rodgers' side ended their six-game losing run with a rout over their East Midlands neighbours Nottingham ...

Patson Daka: The finish was ingenious and he got involved in build-up phases too. Jamie Vardy: The wait for a goal goes on, but there were more chances, and importantly, lots of good movement to get on the end of those crosses, through balls, and long punts up the pitch. His footwork was superb, his choice of pass was excellent, his free-kicks were clever, and he grabbed a couple of goals too. He let others provide the final ball further forward, but he was integral in the build-up. James Justin: He got stuck in well early on and provided good support to Barnes ahead of him, and to his centre-backs inside. Timothy Castagne: He dealt well with the situation when Ward did not come for a loose ball and ran hard up the wing to provide an outlet on the right. The pick of his saves came early in the second half when he denied Awoniyi on the edge of his box, but he made a handful of other decent stops too. The goal that sealed the win for City came with around a quarter of an hour to play. With a fanbase and a set of players willing to push hard for the other, it was an electric start from City. But that was the only change from the 6-2 drubbing at Spurs, with Rodgers staying true to his word and showing faith in under-fire goalkeeper Danny Ward. Harvey Barnes and Patson Daka also found the net on a brilliant night for City that finally gave the 30,000 home fans something to shout about. The result will have come as a relief to manager Brendan Rodgers following the question marks over his future, but in front of watching City chairman Aiyawatt โ€˜Topโ€™ Srivaddhanaprabha, his side produced an excellent performance from start to finish.
