With Glasgow and Liverpool in the running to host the event, demand for tickets is set to be exceptionally high.

This is the most popular event for tickets and demand will be high, but Eurovision says it can be easier to secure tickets for the Jury and Family Shows and "these shows have all of the content and performances of the broadcast shows, but leave you free to watch the Live TV Show as it was intended… on the television!" Both the Family Show and Jury Show feature randomly generated presentations of the qualifiers and points. International judges cast their votes based on the Jury Show rather than the live show. It is more youngster-friendly given it takes place during the day. In fact, there are several events during the week and tickets may be easier to come by for some of the lesser known ones. It is the first time since 1998 the song contest will come to Britain. Eurovision bosses have told fans to "relax" as tickets are not on sale yet. One thing you will need though is some form of official ID like a passport. The Family Show is a final rehearsal for the artists which takes place on the day of a live TV show. Ticket prices have also yet to be set. At this year's event, purchases were limited to four per person.
