Richard Attenborough was barely able to speak, read or write in the lead up to his death.

"He could say my name and that was it," said Michael. - Ataxia - Face – the face may have dropped on one side, the person may not be able to smile, or their mouth or eye may have drooped. - Arms – the person may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of weakness or numbness in one arm. Following a Dying at the age of 90, Michael described him as "quite simply my hero; my supporter, my counsellor, my friend".
