The football pundit doesn't want pity, but this documentary about his diagnosis of speech apraxia was unavoidably sad.

It was variously described here as apraxia of speech or "verbal dyspraxia", and then portrayed as a condition that only affects speech; whereas half an hour in, Kamara said that it had also affected his muscles, movement and coordination. It can’t have been easy – his speech is halting and quiet, the effort required to take his brain’s directions and turn them in to words audible throughout.
