What channel is Kilmarnock vs Rangers on? TV and live stream info ... (Belfast Live)

The games aren't slowing down in the Scottish Premiership as Rangers look to continue their unbeaten run under Michael Beale against Kilmarnock.

They can't afford any slip ups if they hope to catch Ange Postecoglou's side and cut their nine point advantage. Now, it's back to league action for both. SkyGo account holders will be able to stream the game via their tablet or mobile devices. Killie lost to Parkhead in their last league outing and will hope to pull off a shock to move away from the drop zone. The Ayrshire men are just three points ahead of bottom side Ross County so will be desperate to at least avoid defeat. Derek McInnes is looking to get his side back on track after a battling defeat to Celtic at Hampden in the Viaplay Cup but he could not have asked for a tougher test.

Kilmarnock vs Rangers – LIVE updates (Scottish Daily Record)

Michael Beale takes his side down the M77 looking to continue his unbeaten start to life as Ibrox boss.

He picked the ball up and slotted it into the corner. He told Sky Sports: "I need to keep trying to get on the scoresheet, keep getting into those areas. You feel a third is coming for the visitors. Rangers eventually won the game 3-2 after late Killie fight back in Ayrshire. We told the players what to expect but didn't heed that warning. It was a sign of how life has started as Ibrox boss with seven wins from eight games in charge thanks to an Alfredo Morelos double and Ryan Kent goal. Kent managed to get on the scoresheet against Kilmarnock and put the visitors 2-1 up. By that time Killie were already down to 10-men after Danny Armstrong was shown a second yellow for an elbow on Barisic. "We need to get over that. In his time at Rangers he has been linked with a number of moves away from Glasgow to the English Premier League. Chris Stokes opened the scoring for the Ayrshire side after a brilliant start by Derek McInnes’ men. [Kilmarnock](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/all-about/kilmarnock-fc) 2-3 at Rugby Park.

The Swans gaffer said: "No-one is selling anyone on the cheap - they are good players," Martin added: "We will just have to wait and see. I understand you have to ask the question but until someone goes I will just keep repeating the same answer." Swansea have also rejected a bid for Michael Obafemi, reportedly from Burnley. “We have rejected bids for Michael and Morgan. Martin said last week that an offer had been turned down for Whittaker but from an unnamed club, with Ipswich Town also linked. Five key issues as Rangers come from behind to see off Kilmarnock (HeraldScotland)

RANGERS made it eight games unbeaten under Michael Beale as they came from behind to see off Kilmarnock and keep themselves in the Premiership title…

Those deals will go some way to shaping the fortunes of Beale’s side for the next few months. The semi-final with Celtic was an opportunity missed for McInnes and his men. Within minutes, Armstrong was given his marching orders after catching Borna Barisic in the face and collecting a second yellow card from referee Kevin Clancy. Given the consequences of any dropped points in the title race, this wasn’t an easy night for McLaughlin to come back into the team. Beale made three changes from the side that were victorious at Hampden at the weekend as, alongside McLaughlin replacing McGregor, Glen Kamara and Scott Arfield were handed starts. The praise towards Allan McGregor was merited in the aftermath of the win over Aberdeen but it wasn’t enough to secure his position against Kilmarnock. He has also promised McCrorie that he will get his turn between the sticks when he recovers from injury. Killie were well worthy of their advantage and they could have added to it as Jon McLaughlin made a low save to deny Danny Armstrong. If that ambition can be achieved, it would be another significant step in the right direction for Rangers. It really shouldn’t have taken that, though, and Rangers cannot keep giving opposition something to hold onto and leaving themselves up against it this term. In all likelihood, it will count for nothing in the Premiership. Attentions will return to cup action on Saturday and that is another must-win for Beale.

Alfredo Morelos scored two goals as Rangers came from behind to beat 10-man Kilmarnock 3-2 at Rugby Park.

Beale's side got off to a good start in the second half with Kent firing in from inside the box after taking a pass from Morelos following a counter-attack. Morelos headed in his second from a Barisic cross in the 73rd minute but Killie pulled a goal back in the 85th minute through defender Joe Wright to ensure a nervy ending. In a barnstorming Killie start to the cinch Premiership encounter, defender Chris Stokes headed in from a corner after six minutes only for Rangers' Colombian striker to level midway through the first half.

Kilmarnock 2-3 Rangers: Alfredo Morelos scores twice in hard ... (Daily Mail)

JOHN MCGARRY AT RUGBY PARK: No matter the surface that's beneath their feet, Rangers are steadily moving in the right direction under Michael Beale.

Morelos held his ground – and his nerve – to plant a header past Walker from six yards. The defender flashed a volley past McLaughlin. The player protested as he made his way up the tunnel but it seemed like Killie’s chances of taking something from this game left with him. The Colombian seemed to be involved in anything. McInnes will be dismayed at the way his side allowed the visitors a road back onto the game. Seemingly removing any doubt as to where the three points were heading, the third goal arrived on 73 minutes. With Kilmarnock dominating the ball, and Barisic miles off the pace, Armstrong had the run of the place. With Killie pressing, James Tavernier’s long punt up the park turned defence into attack. Stokes just seemed to want it more and beat McLaughlin with a thumping header. Beale made only three changes to the side which won against Aberdeen over 120 minutes at Hampden. Another set piece was immediately conceded when Connor Goldson was forced to stick out a keg to tidy up some messy defending. He has yet to see a true 90-minute display from his side.

Rangers' old habits die hard as defensive lapses cast shadow over ... (The Scotsman)

Rangers show no sign of sacking off old habits after continuing the trend of affording their opponents a goal of a start to make life interesting.

By the time that Morelos had restored parity with James Tavernier and Fashion Sakala combining before the ball was cutback for the Colombian, Rangers had done enough to take themselves back into their comfort zone. It will be a concern for Michael Beale at the inability of Rangers to be reliable from the off and for the duration of 90 minutes with defensive lapses remaining a feature of this side. 5 goalkeepers that fit Rangers transfer profile as fans seek bonafide ... (Scottish Daily Record)

The Ibrox side will almost certainly be int he market for a new No. 1 and we pick out a quintet of possible candidates.

McCarthy’s situation could be compared to Joe Hart in that he is ready for a change and the chance to be No. Has spent almost a decade at Newcastle United but isn’t going to be first choice and could move on soon, with reports suggesting he wants to move this month in search or regular game time. The Londoners, at that time, had conceded 23.7xGA, meaning Dieng has been letting in goals at a rate that would be expected of him. But, currently on loan to Bolton Wanderers, Trotters boss Ian Evatt ruled out a departure from the University of Bolton Stadium in January. McLaughlin is seen as the better of the two when it comes to crosses but was found flapping twice in the early stages at Kilmarnock corners on Wednesday - the second of which resulted in a goal. However, Stoke City have been linked with the shot-stopper as have Premier League outfit Wolves so there would be competition. At the weekend, he said Allan McGregor is the number one but he's now played the last couple of league games. But he was criticised for failing to come off his line at the Dons goal, as well as one that was chopped off for offside. He ends up running behind them and he's got no chance of getting the ball.” 1 for the start of next season, with the Ibrox boss promising Robby McCrorie a run-out before the end of the campaign to stake his claim. The chopping and changing between the two means he either thinks he’s blessed with two great keepers or he can’t decide which one is best. It’s a position that most Rangers fans are pretty much in agreement with that needs to be sorted.

The striker worked with the now boss during his second spell at Ibrox when Beale was a key man under Steven Gerrard.

Lafferty will be aiming for a return to the starting XI for Saturday's Scottish Cup clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. The Northern Ireland international returned to action against Celtic at the weekend after serving a 10-game ban for making a sectarian comment. He had a late attempt after coming off the bench in the final 10 minutes at Rugby Park but was unable to secure an improbable point for the host who had Danny Armstrong sent off for a reckless elbow on Borna Barisic.

McGregor and McLaughlin's struggles show Rangers have a ... (The Athletic)

Jon McLaughlin and Allan McGregor have their strengths but replenishing his goalkeeping stocks must be a summer priority for Michael Beale.

It’s the players and they need to come together and be more assertive.” “We’ve not had that conversation but I’m sure Allan is of an age that he is coming nearer to the end,” he said. “Maybe it’s the communication, the concentration, but the staff don’t play. They’re the things I can’t work out with the group at the minute. I have to give all the players in-house an opportunity because I am going to change players in the squad over time. “You know what’s coming your way and you have to stand up to it. McLaughlin was restored at Kilmarnock and though one error does not render Beale’s assessment of his abilities redundant, he was at fault for the Kilmarnock opener after failing to claim a corner. “It was the right thing to do tonight. We’re going to re-energise it with young players coming in and we’ve got a lot of uncertainty around some of ours.” Beale has six wins from seven league games but the gap with Celtic has not shrunk as the leaders reeled off another 4-0 win against St Mirren. He recovered from that early setback and was comfortable thereafter, but in the final minute, he committed two kamikaze passing errors. His shaky moments on Wednesday, which contributed to Rangers trailing for the 18th time this season, will not have inspired faith.
