Loan signing [Wout Weghorst](https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/wout-weghorst) can be an able stopgap between now and the end of the season, but a bigger-ticket signing may well be the priority come the summer. Locatelli impressed for the Azzurri at Euro 2020, scoring twice in a group stage win against Switzerland. A summer switch didn't materialise in the end, with United splashing out on Casemiro. Here, Mirror Football looks at five members of the current squad who United could be tempted to look at in the coming weeks and months. Juventus' entire board resigned two months ago after the investigation was launched into their alleged financial irregularities. Individuals bans are also set to be appealed. Juventus will appeal the decision with the Italian Olympic Committee - the country's highest sports court. Runaway leaders Napoli, who are nine points ahead of AC Milan in second after hammering Juventus 5-1 in their most recent outing, will not be too concerned. The club's former vice-president Pavel Nedved has also been banned for eight months. There is no suggestion Paratici has been involved in any wrongdoing at Tottenham. Paratici has received a 30-month ban and Spurs are seeking clarification as to whether this extends beyond Italy. They are also the 12 points behind both Atalanta in fifth (Europa League qualification spot) and Roma in sixth (Europa Conference League). Juventus' points deduction has placed greater emphasis on the Coppa Italia. They face Lazio at home in the quarter-finals on February 2 and the winners of that tournament will qualify for next season's Europa League. Their hopes of winning the Serie A title are all but over and they must go on an impressive winning run to salvage European football. The Old Lady deny the charges and will launch an appeal to Italy's highest sports court.
