Leicester City is in need of a lifeline against Aston Villa as it looks to stave off the threat of Premier League relegation.
We're live in B6 as Unai Emery looks to make it three wins on the bounce and to propel Aston Villa into the top half of the Premier League.
The ball comes off the underside of the crossbar and Ollie Watkins races ahead of Castagne to half-volley home. Douglas Luiz rolls the ball to Bailey to cross. Ramsey's at the far post but Kristiansen is ahead of him to put it behind. Kamara with the ball out to Leon Bailey who chops back inside and feeds Emi Buendia. It was a tap in at the far post, that one. Emi Martinez played it to Kamara right in front of him from a goal kick. Bailey cuts inside and powers towards the far post with his left foot. Iheanacho gobbled up the loose ball and feeds Tete who rounded Martinez for 2-3. That is the big challenge to improve.” It's football suicide at times from Villa who are playing needless passes out from the back. Villa will be relying on the results of Brentford and Liverpool to do that but, with 18 games remaining, Emery believes Villa can really push on having won five of the last seven league games. The returning [Bertrand Traore](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/all-about/aston-villa-fc) is expected back next week due to a knee injury while Diego Carlos remains sidelined.

Here's the verdict as Aston Villa fail to jump into the top half of the Premier League as Leicester win it 4-2 at Villa Park.
Philippe Coutinho on for Ramsey, 46 minutes: Looked bright whenever he had it and slipped Watkins in with a delicate ball as Souttar slid to block the Villa striker from scoring his second. Ollie Watkins: Back in the goals and scored his fifth of the season to open the scoring, reacting quickest to Buendia’s effort which hit the crossbar. Leon Bailey: Played a lot of his football here from the right-hand side and found Leicester new boy Kristiansen a tough cookie with the imposing Dane winning that battle. Buendia cracked the underside of the crossbar with a curling, left-footed attempt as Watkins followed up the rebound to make it 1-0. Douglas Luiz: Liked the majority of his work in there as his passes cut right through blue shirts which enabled Villa to get on the front foot in the opening stages. Boubacar Kamara: At fault for two of Leicester’s goals in the first half as the Frenchman, usually immaculate in possession, was pickpocketed in dangerous areas with Maddison and Tete the big beneficiaries. Lucas Digne: Back in the starting line-up after missing the win over Southampton but, after struggling to contain the lively Tete on that side, was hooked off at the break. Powered forwards whenever he could after the break in an attempt to get Villa on the front foot. Pulled up twice with a niggle before Cash replaced him on the hour. Martinez was instructed to play out from the back but there were a lack of options while, for the Foxes’ first, Kamara was caught receiving Martinez’s pass. Ashley Young was later forced off as Matty Cash replaced him on the hour. Unai Emery’s men went ahead thanks to Ollie Watkins’ fifth goal of the season as the striker reacted quickest to Emi Buendia’s effort which cracked the crossbar.

New signing, Tete, head and shoulders the best player." He tweeted: "Cracking end-to-end game at Villa Park.
