Download 2023: New 'leaked' line-up poster hits social media (TheFestivals)

The supposedly leaked line-up poster shows new additions including Neck Deep and Bob Vylan, along with the festival's day splits.

Though the full-size Download couldn’t happen in 2021 either, the festival made history by holding a downscaled pilot event as part of the UK Government’s Events Research Programme. Download Festival returned last summer after a two-year break during the pandemic. This meant the campsites were now much closer to the arena than in previous years. Offering the chance to relive the best bits from this year at Donington, it features a killer soundtrack with Those Damn Crows, Cassyette and Sleep Token along with highlights from headliners KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro. There are now just over 100 days until the festival gets underway. Day tickets will go on sale at the same time.

As the scene of Slipknot's last UK appearance with him, calling in at Download was only right and fitting. – but Rammstein still managed to bring their explosive live show. Was the police's facial recognition software needed for Kiss? Playing an epic 20-song set, Kiss brought their spectacular live show to this side of the Atlantic. Fortunately Lars was in good health this time around. Despite Lars Ulrich being rushed to hospital minutes beforehand, Metallica ploughed on with their set with Slayer's Dave Lombardo, Slipknot's Joey Jordison and their drum technician, Flemming Larsen, filling in for Lars. And kick off they did! For those who already have a four or five day camping tickets, upgrades are available. Also performing across the four days are A.A.
