An environmentally friendly bioethanol stove was installed inside George Clarke's eco-caravan on his series Amazing Spaces.
Bioethanol is a renewable fuel made by fermenting the sugar and starch components of plant by-products, including sugarcane, corn, maize, wheat and waste straw. The focus on sustainable fuels has increased in recent years, but despite this wood burning stoves are still soaring in popularity. In the most recent episode of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, the architect gushed over his new caravan which featured a wood burning stove alternative. It's a fuel which can be grown and extracted from plants, so it's eco-friendly. George said the result an "absolutely amazing" eco caravan which was kitted out with the latest energy saving features.
