As part of the donation, Chelsea Foundation have also launched an education programme on antisemitism for secondary schools, in partnership with the centre and Holocaust Educational Trust. Working alongside partners such as Borussia Dortmund, Lord Mann and organisations such as Kick It Out, Holocaust Educational Trust and the National Holocaust Centre and Museum, among many others, has been a vital element of this work and I would like to thank them for their continued support. Chelsea FC have long documented the life and story of Julius Hirsch and other Jewish athletes who lost their lives in the Holocaust.

Ingle receives OBE at Windsor Castle (Chelsea FC)

Chelsea Women midfielder Sophie Ingle has today received her OBE for services to football from HRH the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle.

Ingle, who signed a two-year extension to her Blues contract at the end of last year, is in her second spell with Chelsea. It is a huge honour for not only myself, but my family and all those involved with the Welsh women’s side who have worked tirelessly to help the platform be where it is today.’ The Chelsea Women midfielder was honoured by the King for services to football and presented with her medal by the Prince of Wales in a ceremony on Tuesday.
