It's a big one in Gorgie as Robbie Neilson's side get a second crack at Ange's Treble chasers in the space of three days.
A corner comes in but Celtic clear the danger. An incredible save to keep Sibbick's shot on the spin out. [Celtic](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/all-about/celtic-fc) have the added motivation of trying to secure a Treble – their fifth in seven seasons if they pull it off. But no booking again and Celtic back on the pass as they pin Hearts back and grab a second before the break. Ginnelly was on the follow up and Hart is incensed with the referee for not awarding a foul. And straight away at the other end Celtic are in again but Jota sees his ball for Kyogo turned away for a corner which Carter Vickers heads over from. Hearts are doing well and a couple of pinball moments in the box fall Celtic's way and they are able to clear the danger. On the break and so dangerous as the winger has a pop after spinning free of a challenge. And are able to get back on the ball and take the sting out of the hosts. Smith makes an error trying to beat Jota out the corner, he is robbed of the ball but the winger mercifully miscues from a Hearts perspective. More fresh legs for the champions in hunt for a return to Hampden in the Scottish Cup. But the opposition are formidable and Celtic have lost only two domestic games since September 2021 – the task is tall if Hearts fans are to experience a day to remember in the marquee weekend fixture.

Ange Postecoglou's full Q+A to the media after Celtic booked a Scottish Cup semi-final spot with a 3-0 win over Hearts.
Not just the goal but we created a couple of great chances too and our defensive work to not really allow them to get up the park at all I thought really sort of set the stall for us then go on and win the game. I think we're a better team now than we were at the start of the year and we weren't that bad a team at the start of the year. They'll cheer for a throw-in, so we've got to quieten them down and the way we started was outstanding. We spoke about it when you come to Tynecastle, I think the one thing you don't want to do is give their crowd, they're going to be up and about anyway, so we needed to start the game really strong. I said to the lads at the beginning of the game, they'll cheer for everything. I think that gives confidence to the guys around him and that's the reason I sort of gave him the armband when Callum McGregor was out. He's definitely one who we think can be a strong contributor between now and the end of the year. It was great for him to get his goal and again he's such an enormous contributor for us. You are through to the semi-final and nine points clear in the League. You can't underestimate the workload he's put in leading the line all week, but he was still running today and you could see he was really fatigued towards the end of it. You see that you guys see the end product, but I see it on a daily basis and that's the whole group of guys who are playing, the guys who are not getting minutes. On Wednesday night he had to leave his penalty area a couple of times and sweep and he does these things with a sort of efficiency, but obviously goalkeepers sometimes it's the saves that give them the prominence and it's a great save today when we needed him.

Celtic took control from the start and Hatate had a shot well parried by Zander Clark even before Mooy steered home a first-time left-footed effort. Hearts are away to Aberdeen on the same day. Celtic have a date with destiny at Hampden in the final four after a commanding display against Hearts at Tynecastle.
Was unwavering in the challenge and his movement. Scored his chance with a top header much to his delight. Looked steady but had a good chance with a free header. That was before the win was sealed by Cameron Carter-Vickers who powered a header in after some great movement. A top display. The Hoops got off to a flying start with Reo Hatate forcing a big save from Zander Clark inside one minute.
