The final race on the card went the way of the John Kiely trained runner, A Dream To Share. He travelled strongly through the race and once he hit the front the only danger was the fences ahead of him. Once he got safely over that fence there was little doubt in the result. The second last of the day is the Grand Annual Handicap Chase. A superb round of jumping put his rivals to the sword early in the race and he had just enough reserved in tank to hold on. Galvin went on to finish second with Franco De Port a distant third. Thyme White looked like he was going to play a big part in the finish before coming down two out. The races complexion changed at the second last as Thyme White came down and Dinoblue made a terrible mistake, that being said they would have had a big task on their plate to beat the mare. Take a look at the Energumene travelled strongly throughout and besides a slight scare at the third last, favourite backers had very little to worry about.
